Fun fact. The one in Pokemon white. Its not a soft lock. The NPC's have a small gimmick where if you press the b button. They either move fast or continue moving. In his case they dont move at all unless you run. Cause normally when you run you walk into trainers. So yeah. I tested it out its not a soft lock whatsoever

That glitch where it teleports you to Fourside happened to me the other day, but text said "You gave Bubble Monkey some gum" appeared and the noise the monkey makes happen teleporting me to the Cafe
I like to imagine, after Ness and pals end up at the door of the cafe, Ness swings his bat at the door, trying for something, anything to free them from their prison and... everything breaks.
It's always troubling when you start out by falling through the planet. But then again, that's an average Tuesday for me. It's always fascinating to have glitches teleport you. It's kind of like finding a weak-spot in the fabric of reality, through which you can travel to worlds beyond.
All I can think about is that one post about how, if real life was a video game, exploits and glitches would become so important to culture that within three weeks some speedrunner would have clipped to the edge of the universe and probably be on the news.

The "Glitch" at 3:02 is not actually a glitch. The trainers move whenever you press the b-button. Which is why, if you notice, that they only move when he starts running from a standstill.
Ernesto, I think he means that since you could encounter wild Pokémon in there you could just keep getting into fights until your Pokémon all got KO’d.
You know what I love the most about the part where chugga is send to the bar. That woman blocking the counter is standing in the wrong spot. She's not standing there when he shows up later.
But it is technically speaking not a soft-lock. You can of course say that it was a soft-lock to him because he didn't know how to get out of it, but the fact is that you could still get out of it, meaning that it isn't a soft-lock

Chuggaacompilation It’s not a softlock, they move when he presses B. Even if they didn’t move when he pressed B, it wouldn’t be a softlock because he had escape rope and even if he didn’t he could of just had his Pokémon faint.
Ok basically he thought he lost all his pickmin beacuse the animation didn't play. He did lose some but beacuse he didn't see them go into the onion he panicked.

So yes, the new Earthbound playthrough uses modern quality, Wii U Virtual Console, analytical Emile, fancy microphone, instead of pulling an April Fools 2009 and trying to make the quality of the new Earthbound look and sound exactly like the old one.
4:15 Pokémon Trainers tend to stop moving once beaten until you reload the map they're on, so they couldn't move while Chugga was behind them until he used an Escape Rope/Dig and returned, thus refreshing the Wellspring Cave B1F map.
@@pageclayton6850 he had already battled the trainers, and they don't move at all until the map is reloaded once you beat them. That was just an oversight by the devs. I've run circles around trainers I've beaten that were previously moving.
@@pageclayton6850 it has been years since I've played gen 5, so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm right, but whatever. It's really not important enough to justify starting a new game to test this.
I think this video is glitched for me, because it keeps freezing about a minute in every time I play it, and i switch to many other videos and they play fully fine. Fitting
1:47 wasnt really a glitch, while all the Pikmin visually responded to the whistle, the counter at the bottom indicated that the Pikmin were not counted as "In Olimar's party" Regardless, been loving Emile's stuff since I was in middle school, still love him to this day.
3:00 so yeah, little known fact but this is a “shortcut” they used in Black and white that makes it so they only move when there is a (B) input. I don’t know why they would do this instead of just put them on a loop. Weird hun?
Fun fact about the trainers. They move when you press the B button, and they aren’t the only ones who do that in the game. I discovered this before he even announced his black and white LP
