Chung ah successfull in the future 🥰 

I finally figured out a way to watch this drama in its entirety! Thanks to you for your edits of this drama and for introducing it to me and many others. I would agree with you that this is one of, if not the best kdrama of 2023. I hope it wins awards and I hope that Netflix is able to negotiate a deal to be able to showcase it to an even a wider audience. In a way, it reminds me of the Back to Future movies, but with more heartfelt emotional depth. The actors, especially the one who played the lead son, were phenomenal! Again i absolutely loved this drama!❤❤❤❤❤

Smooth landing indeed. This series wanted to show that wasn't disabilities that limited Yi Chan. But it was his own insecurities and lacked of support because of his closed attitude after the accident. With his confidence and undying loyalty and support from his friend he will be fine

the band didn't have the close friendship they did in the changed version of the past. the festival never happened and they disbanded and went separate ways. only Yi Chan and Ma Gu remained, but on the day the accident happened Ma Gu didn't go with Yi Chan so he blamed himself, and Yi Chan partly couldn't see his best friend feeling guilty and partly felt sad looking at his friend and thinking his new disability was holding him back. so Yi Chan distanced himself. but you're right, eomma and appa being deaf was never the problem. even in the former present, they were great parents and they raised both sons so well. Eun Gyeol minimised their tragedies and made their youths shine, giving them good memories to look back on and gain strength from in hard times.

@@manaswinimishra In the first episode before the time traveling yi chan and Cheong ha with their children was running a restaurant..they were poor because of which they made many adjustments like eun gyeol obeying and tolerating the house owner's son and all. When eun gyeol time travelled we can understand that his father (Yi chan) lost his hearing in an accident and he was not interested in going to college and his mother ( Cheong ha) was under the control of her so called step mom..Which is the reason why both his parents wasn't able to lead a happy life as they never got to fulfill what they want...But when eun gyeol entered their life in 1995 he made his father ambitious even though he was not able to save him from the accident..due to his ambition he went to college and became successful Eun gyeol brought Cheong ha s step mom's truth infront of her father and removed that evil lady from their life thus making Cheong ha the rightfull owner of her properties and ceo of her company later.. When Eun gyeol came back to present his life was changed due to the changes he made in his parents life...he was in a band with his parent's permission as his father does not hate his life..his father's friends were all together with them his mother and father had become successful and he got the love of his life

I think it is more on leading up to the accident how chung ah and yichan’s relationship as teens didn’t have a proper outcome? they didn’t really showed chung ah knowing Yichan’s accident and how she comforted him. I think it was more about that. It was ubrubt back to future.

⁠@@kayegijapon9175Probably u guys missed out the scene when Chung Ah’s dad said he willing to pay for Yi Chan treatment and sponsored his education until university, and both of them Yi Chan and Chung Ah are graduated from US, they probably same university in the past. The only things that we don’t get proper ending is actually how Eun Yoo present life.

i agree with the previous replies as well but for me a big part was how eun gyeol's time travel wasn't really dealt with in 2023. He changed both his parents lives super significantly and they don't recognise him? Like at some point go 'hey our kid looks a lot like the kid who saved me from my abusive household when I was in high school' or 'this kid looks like the one I saved in high school that led to me hearing loss'. Or they could've thrown in a line about how he's named after his parents friend from high school cause he has the same freaking name! Plus, we never find out why cheongah's mother was literally ripped away from her? It was just a bit abrupt for me but overall I loved this drama

Yes ending suddenly jumps to present this is little confusing but overall is perfect and there is no need to explain all that past theories bcz all of them flow in their time and if they again interfere past then future might not be there so it's best way to end past in that way and jumps to future bcz most important is the world where they belong and need not to look back again further to past as it was already happened n we just can't interfere yeah but due some reasons Eungoel have changed his mother fate n they all reunite again ❤

And i think the fact she ain't living in the original timeline house show that her parents didn't get divorce in this timeline 😊😊

The Chunga Ha with bun was the younger self. The son is imagining his mom and other friends in their teens.
