Imo as a DK main, you lose all matchups on paper. You have godawful disadvantage, you’re the easiest character to combo, you have shit oos, and you’re recovery is super exploitable, even tho you can mix it up. Whatever the other characters strength is, your are very vulnerable to it. That said, you trade all those flaws for that sweet sweet DK advantage state. You are always one hit and a few reads away from exploding stocks. I’ve mained him for a year and I have no idea where he falls on the tier chart lol it’s really up to how good the dk player is

I mean Bowser has been to grand finals at a major. What results does DK have?

His disadvantage is dumpster fire bad. And isn't that great in neutral vs a lot of the cast. CK has a really nice neutral and godlike advantage so you don't get to see the places where DK can't land and is at ledge for a year.
