Does any of you still drink from an open well? I did! The Church in Dauis, Bohol, Philippines, built along the seashore in 1698, has a well at the foot of its sanctuary, with drinkable water believed by many as having healing properties. I had the privilege of drinking from this well, and I can testify that this was the first time I tasted such a full and refreshing water. I would be happy to return to this Church, already elevated to the status of a Shrine, and drink from its well again.
