Reminds me of when My child's preschool teacher (private church school) said she "required" the class to attend a funeral of a church member and sing at the service. I objected and in meeting with teacher and pastor, and was quickly talked over, scolded and told death is a reality of life and there is no point in shielding children from it. I replied to the teacher (who had a striking resemblance to Church Lady from the old SNL) that at one point she has taught a girl in her class that has grown up, strayed from the church and worked as a stripper on a pole. Since there is no point shielding children from this can we get this field trip booked now? 😏 **insert pretend aghast, shocked... How Dare you (even thou you're right) Faces! ** That ended the meeting and my child's attendance at this school. Like I said, the logic only applies when it goes their way.

Actually churches aren't exempt from taxes. In the Bible Jesus says that churches are to pay taxes. He said render unto God the things that belong to God & render unto Ceaser the things that belong to Ceaser.

According to THE LAW, churches are, in fact, tax exempt. They shouldn’t be, but they are.

I’m presuming that you’re referring to the street preacher. You’re absolutely right. He does have the right to walk the sidewalk to preach. HOWEVER, he does NOT have the right to intentionally block their camera views in the process, which is exactly what he was doing.

Their feelings are hurt and the conversation starts out in a negative way every time. Long Island Audit says de-escalation is the right way to start.
