Church Soup Ep 2024-06 (UMC General Conference, Grease Themed Worship, King Charles, and more!) 

I'm in Young Methodists for Tradition. We are fighting to restore the UMC to orthodoxy.

As a former United Methodist pastor ( we Disaffiliated last year PRAISE GOD ) I've been calling the United Methodist council of bishops the council of 🤡 and using the emoji for years.

The UMC will most likely disappear completely within the next 20 to 30 years. My wise Gramps used to say "If you try and please everybody you'll wind up pleasing nobody"!

The bit talking about how the UMC encourages everyone to establish their pronouns except God had me dying 😂😂😂

I spent all day working on my thesis for my masters in theology. This video was an unexpected reward for all my sufferings lol

University Christian Church is smack-dab in the middle of the "Rainbow" section of San Diego. This is not their first "Christian Musical" based on secular movies. They did a Wizard of Oz musical already (No surprise!) You'd think with all the gay parishoners, they'd be better at the song and dance shtick.

Thank you for poking fun at the UMCs heartbreaking split. Are there any churches that are morally courageous to stand against the WOKE mind virus, in public, if small, ways? Small stands in the service, of just during prayer, would be a huge encouragement to each victim of the culture war, where the NYT determines good and bad, and what's deemed political so the church shouldn't speak about.
