I bought one a year or so ago - It's perfect for my use. My main programs are: PowerPoint Google Chrome Coreldraw Audacity I have a second screen, PSU, mouse, and Keyboard in my home office and at work. All I have to do is plug in one USB C. I wanted a very easy to carry machine that covered all my needs in either office, but useable as a standalone from time to time. Everything is local storage. This being my primary device, but backed up to an internal 500GB SSD, my work phone (Samsung S21), and a 1TB SSD drive. An odd advantage I didn't expect. It starts conversations in coffee shops.
I like the Hi10 dual boot tablet (Chuwi tablet lol) ; there's problems with it but its gotten me through the last 3 years ok for a v low price, since something that doesn't work on Window10 (lots) will usually work on Android, or vice versa I'm not going to rush out and pay over £400 for this, and the fingerprint sensor is a worry...
Neat Netbook. How does this compare to what GPD has been doing? Also, I wonder if you can use it to play games. If it has a GPU maybe it can play Dos and Glide games. Coffee Shops? Are you an Urban guy? That just seems weird to me.
I'm considering the GPD Pocket 2, the Yoga 3(s), this MiniBook or something comparable. I have a huge issue with screen flicker/PWM. Any suggestions about which device would have the best screen? Seems like it's mostly impossible to check them out without purchasing.
It's good to have one. Which is the best of mini book according to your opinion. You like to collect minibook. I think you have the best opinions about all the minibooks. During / after the world lock down due to covid19, would you recommend minibooks? (sorry for my poor grammar)
Just wandering, which mini 💻 would be good for casual use, for entertainment mainly. I am tired of doing everything on the smartphone, I want to get a secondary device to lay the heavy stuff on. These portable 💻 look pretty 🆒 and there are also different brands or flavors.
cant decide between this or the gpd p2 max, concerned mostly with battery life and the fan noise, thanks for the review. which would you prefer, id be using it for watching movies/youtube, rarely taking notes and some light office work.
Consider the One Mix Yoga 3. Has a superior keyboard, flips like this one and overall a nice device. My co-worker has the Yoga 3 and I bought the 3s but it hasn't shipped yet.
@@AdmiralSym yea but its only 8gb 256gb pretty much the same as the minibook and its about $50 more. any reason why?

@@hEXordo man, between this and the GPD p2 max the GPD wins hands down, how did you even come to that debate? between the p2 max and the mix3s that Mr Gabow recommended you that is and completely different story tho..
The touch screen solutions is goes to BIOS. USB-C and USB HUB options were turned off. Turned them on and restarted windows. Everything worked again. Touchscreen and pen.
hi chuwi n4100 8inch 8gb / 128gb formatted my computer i need fingerprint, touch screen and screen mirroring driver. I would be glad if anyone will share a link here.
2:10 ... that's exactly why I don't understand why all these minibooks come at 8". Why not 10" with a full-size keyboard? If I want to put it in my pocket, I can take my almost-7" phablet (which even has higher specs). Also, put a real HDMI in there. I don't know a single room equipped with a mini-HDMI cable.

sure, because at 10" they are called netbooks.. or on higher specs ultrabooks, so this 7" to 8" are minibooks.. and of course, you are right, for your "pocket" application you use a phone but for people with more sophisticated use of software on the go with no bags we use this ;)
Be aware that Chuwi support really sucks!!! Cooling fan is extremely loud. Keyboard keys getting stuck. I have received device with non functioning several buttons. To get it fixed I had to sent device to Hong Kong on my expense. They also told me that I have to pay taxes when they send it back.
how can anynody spend 400+ on these? Absolutely hopeless for programming, or pretty much anything else. I'd rather buy surface tablet I could put linux on.
