Hi Stuart, I've been following your journey which has been incredible and fantastic to hear from other implanted users. Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge. I'm in the UK, got a yes from the surgeon for my right ear yesterday. Now to wait for the pre-op assessment from Bristol and an op date! (I'm going with Advanced Bionics as they have a link hearing aid for my left ear) ☺️ Here's to a noisy future! 🥳 Be awesome to be able to hear bacon sizzling and all the other sounds I don't pick up! Thank you so much for this comment and I'm SO EXCITED for your implantation. If you look at Episode 15, you'll see that you always have the to CHOICE to hear [or not to hear] with a CI. Don't mention bacon....haven't had bacon for ages...yum yum!!! There's four more episodes of CI20 coming the next 10 days and then a final one on International Cochlear Implant day which is on Feb 23rd!!!!!
