I have quick question on this, One of my friend was saying his CIBIL score is not good enough to apply home loan, but he didn't applied for any loan (NA/NH) only he was saying he is guarantor of two loans who his friends took, so its matter if we are becoming guarantor for any loan then our CIBIL score affect. Cibil is BS. Last 34 EMIs paid on time. But still it's 727.. Reason I have paid back just over 70% of the loan in 3 years on a 15 years loan. Now a second bank or any other credit facility looking only at the score might think I defaulted on the loan. Cibil - Pure BS.

If a take a loan from Bank X and repay it on time, suppose after 5 years, I want to take a loan from Bank Y, will my timely repayment/non-repayment of previous loan affect my new loan?
Plz solve my query. I borrowed 300000/- as a personal loan from HDFC Bank in April,2016. I forclosed it on 14/11/2019 before 17 month of it's end of tenure e.i. the last instt. on 04/04/2021. But the bank charged from me 2% of the balance of principal amount plus 18% GST, 2.36% extra in all. Now, plz clear if the bank is right or wrong. Thanks
HDFC charged me over 7000 as non maintenance fee. The account is now in negative balance, so will it affect my cibil score if I close my account without paying the non maintenance fee. This is not anything that I took as a loan or as credit but the fee HDFC levied for me not using my account for 18 months. Could you please clarify this. Thank you.
