From one extreme to the next as far as temps are concerned 😆 I love hearing the cicadas. Great place too. Very beautiful terrain. And such an interesting animal.

Yes, the state park has it's own campground. A couple of ponds/lakes as well. The river has a put in for kayaks as well. Yeah, if cicadas could bite or sting, it would be a whole different story!
When I went to EIU I hiked there in Fox Ridge a lot; great park! good hiking. The trail of trees loop is first path i jogged to get healthy. I'm not that fit or young anymore!
