Interesting. Before watching, I thought I'd like the Middle position, but I much preferred them separately - ie the P90 in the Neck and the Humbucker in the Bridge. I think it might be that the Neck added a bit of warmth to the P90 and the Humbucker took away what might have been some extra brightness in the Bridge. I don't know?

Definitely my two favorite pickups so it’s hard to decide. However I realize I have a tendency to use P-90’s a bit more. Nicely done Michael 🎼🎸

I like the P90 separate from the humbucker, but the humbucker sounds good by itself too!

Both guitars are great but I think the Lightning Caster is a thing of beauty! Kind of lean towards the humbucker but it depends on the tune. Maybe you could give instruction sometime on the finger picked song you played first please. You are a talented player Michael. The dancing chicken was hilarious! Always look forward to your next video.

Hey Michael, these guitars look awesome! About the sound, every time I listen, I change my mind...It is the same with my amp settings...but my first thought was that the P90 pickup only sounds the best with the bottleneck, and the humbucker alone sounds the best on the second tune.

All 3 tones sound great, but I like the middle setting with both the P90 and humbucker together. To my ear, it has a much richer, thicker, warm tone. I'd be curious to see if you juiced it up with a little hot sauce how the different tones sound as well.

Both guitars are beauties Michael and the tones are all nice, just depends on the song. Speaking of songs, I like that first one alot. New? Personally, I like the tones you use but can't help but wonder how the the boxes would sound using the "insane" setting on your Spyder amp. Maybe in a future vid? Keep building, keep posting, and keep growin' that backwoods beard! 😊
