Hello viewers,
Today's recipe is cigarette cookies/ tulies/ rolled butter cookies. In this video, I will show you how to make these Cigare Cookies at home in an easy way.
You need to work with the cookies while they are hot, before they cool down and get hard. So it's better to make two or three cookies at a time. Also, it is better to wear cotton gloves to avoid burning your fingers.
To make about 10 cookies
Ingredients:
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup powder sugar
2 medium egg white
5 tbsp all purpose flour
optional: a few drops of vanilla extract

Silicon mat is necessary ! It can be done on stove but the outcome might be not as good as the one in oven !

Baking paper/foil paper can be used...but silicon mat works best ....😊 And make the tulies in a pan just like pancake then roll them quickly ....but the outcome might be not good enough !

For best result you have to bake in oven.....but you can make them on stove just like pancake and roll .....😊

Hmm; seems like a lot of energy (in terms of oven-time) for two cookies at a time. I assume you would do more, but then again, you probably don't want to do too many, or they'll cool too much while you're rolling, and you'll have trouble with the last ones. Maybe if you have them in separate trays, and keep them warm in the oven while you're working, maybe even stagger how you put them in to account for the time spent rolling...? Just an idea.

These rolls are called 'LOVE LETTERS' in 1995 in Singapore the old ladies use to roll it in a long handle like toasters. Very fast and perfect. Same any Singaporeans can identify this as it. Eggy very tasty, sweet smell.once you taste it, you have to eat the whole bottle, I was 25 at that time so I did are more.
