En tiempos remotos Marillion fue mi grupo predilecto. Estudiaba de ellos cada pasaje musical. Pues yo tenía un grupo de música. Aparte de ser lector del maestro Tolkien. Rendirle tributo me parece genial. Lo hacéis estupendamente bien, chicos. Mis felicitaciones desde el sur de España
Brilliant, the best Fish-era Marillion tribute band I have heard up till now! So close to the original sound, and hats off to the vocalist, who has perfected Fish's very original, dramatic and demanding vocal style! Delighted... Wish I could see you live. Thanks for all the clips... love every one. Your enthusiasm is contagious! So impressed...
These guys are really really good. Well impressed, been a fan of Marillion since early 80s and Clutching is one album I used to have on loop so I know it well in my head and these guys are nailing it here, great playing, great vocals. WOW!
Heard your kayleigh version and now this, its just really very good in all the details. What is the count measure actually in the part from 8:25 onwards, 10/8th is it? Always confuses me but a lovely maj7 chord section. Thanks guys.
Thanks again 🙂 We're all about the details because we want to sound as authentic as possible. As for the timing, not sure if it's 10/8 or 5/4 (both work) 🙂
Very good band, but as a bass player myself I'm kind of puzzeled when I see Marillion tribute bands with no bass pedals. That pedal sound is so part of the music and so easy to reproduce with midi pedals. Anyway still sounds very good to my ears.
Good job, especially with the vocals, which are tricky to match. Gets pretty good at 11:23. Would have benefitted from better EQ and treble clarity to bring out more of the high end.
