I think of his version of the "Freaky Friday" sketch where he plays a failed director reviving a freaky Friday-like show except one that embraced the sexual implications of a father and son switching bodies. I always thought that sketch was interesting because I was like, oh yeah, you kind of so have to make that character single, don't you?

@@Monterey96 I made the mistake of assuming this would be funny before watching it. Against my better judgement. This is a pretty easy film to send up. Unless you're SNL. VERY occasionally SNL is funny, like the Dead Poets Society parody, but most of the time it disappoints. SNL doesn't get broadcast in this country. But RU-vid keeps suggesting it, and sometimes I get shown it by other people.

I own a tortoise. I can confirm their trickery. Mine almost set fire to my living room. He figured out how to use his lamp as a catapult. He also somehow got the dog and the cats to bring him extra blankets and tuck him in at night.

I remember liking Tippi's perfect manicure when I watched The Birds as a kid. It may have been an influence on me because I've always kept my nails done (& polished). I work at a meat packing plant and everyday I dispose of whatever fell on the floor plus the leftover fat from the grinder. I then go out and toss the remnants to the gulls who are absolutely vicious.

The Birds actually was the model for zombie movies (sudden attack on civilization by unexpected turn in natural forces, people barricade themselves in house, etc.). Psycho was the first pre-Meyers Halloween slasher film, North by Northwest model for dapper James Bond thrillers. Hitchcock really was a visionary.

Cuz that movie (from what I can tell by the plot, so correct me if I'm wrong) looks like it's about 1 zombie being brought back, but this person was talking about the movies where it's like huge hordes of them coming at people. You know what I mean? Like that was the first zombie movie, but the movie that inspired the idea of "lock yourselves inside, there's a lot of birds/zombies outside killing people" was The Birds
