1. changes the white balance to daylight 2. blocks off all daylight and replaces it with artificial light
@TheJudge064
@TheJudge064 4 года назад
Artificial lights have to be properly white balanced too, since they too have colour temperature.
@TheIkaika777

The artificial light was set to daylight, having the natural light changing constantly means one would have to keep changing the white balance and iso.

You're free to use any light you choose in whatever way you want. His scene in his head probably intended the character to be seated in a warmly lit indoors environment, perhaps in the night time. If he had wanted to clearly state - through his style choice - that the scene takes place during the day, he would have shown that instead.
@oddities-whatnot
@oddities-whatnot 4 года назад
The artificial lights are already daylight balanced, so his selection on the camera was correct.

Hello to anyone who is seeing this. I am Peyton Kendall and I am an aspiring RU-vidr. I post once or twice a week and my videos are mostly vlogs and Cinematic sequences. I would appreciate it beyond belief if you would check out my channel and watch a video or two and maybe even subscribe. I am joining the race to the top of the RU-vid world so who's going to help me get there? Anyways, thanks and I hope you have a great day.

you're not an aspiring youtuber, you're aspiring at making money off youtube.. every single video is a plea for your fanbase to donate to your gofundme... that's not what youtube is about
@PeytonKendallTV

SvendDesigns see that's where your wrong. I've done RU-vid for 3 years now and it's always been for the fun. Hence why I don't even have my videos monetized. It is not a gofundme it is an indigogo meant for raising money to people with a passion.since I don't have monetization I need help raising the money. Everything I need costs 1600 and I'm working to make money and I'm not begging I simply included it in my description. Didn't even mention it in my video

I found myself humming the music in the background after I watched the video. Any chance you are thinking of releasing some of the tracks you write for DSLR Guide? Also, you mentioned in the video that very flat colour profiles aren't very good for DSLRs like yours. I've got a Nikon D5100, which was the direct competitor to the 600D at the time of it's release. I've been using the flattest profile I could find for my camera, and I've been frustrated by how my camera can't seem to produce video with a lot of sharpness or colour accuracy, even after grading and sharpening. This may be due to my image profile, but I'm not sure. What can I look for in a profile that can maximize the quality of the images that come out of my camera? Love your videos, by the way. They've been invaluable to me for learning about filmmaking!
@DSLRguide
@DSLRguide 8 лет назад
+sensi277 haha maybe one day! to be honest with you the difference between colour profiles are quite small, if you're looking for sharpness & colour accuracy it's probably your lighting that needs some work. That's really the best way to maximise the image quality :)

Hey DSLRguide! Thanks for responding. After doing some extra digging I found that you can purchase it here : visioncolor.cartloom.com/shop/item/101709 My question to you is, do you think it's work the 10$ to upgrade from cinestyle to vision color? Thanks!
@DSLRguide
@DSLRguide 7 лет назад
Jigesh Sarjaka it all depends on your budget, but if you can afford a DSLR then I'd recommend spending the extra $10 for vision color. I prefer the results compared to cinestyle about 70% of the time. If i'm lighting the scene, I always shoot vision color, but if it's a high contrast environment (eg sunny day outside) then cinestyle is usually better.
