Means a lot! :) naaah I don't wanna be the next Johnny, I want to be me :) I love Johnny's work.. super inspiring!!! But I want to write my own story and have my own style :))
The smoothness and the motion blur in your videos are so amazing and it is inspiring me to learn fpv to reach your level! You definitely deserve more views and subscribers!
Amazing Video! For beginners really nice to understand what is necessary for fpv flying. I have discovered these tips on my own, but it would definitely helped me out! Great Video, great shots and I loved the chasing shots. Have to practice this one :D annndddd landing... I have a bottom mounted Battery, its soooo hard to land it without ruining my props. (It falls every time on them :/ 360 Insta R.... I don't like the look like the one of the GoPro. In my opinion, your videos look better with GoPro. But it is also a really nice camera
Thanks man! Buy a landing pad or something similar soft.. what drone do you fly? :) regarding Insta, it's only color correct but not graded with look.. because I wanted to show what kind of colors you get straight out of camera :) But the GoPro footage has been color corrected AND color graded, that's why it looks better :) Will do a comparison video in the following weeks! Both cameras have different pros and cons
Great video Tom. I noticed you're a pincher with the controller, how are you finding this along with the tango 2? Question 2: Have you compared crossfire link quality to dji link quality with the transmitted? I can't find any good video's comparing this, but would like to switch to tango 2 with crossfire if the transmitter signal is much better.
Hey man, thanks! I used to fly with Taranis qx7 which has longer gimbals, so it took me a few days to get used to flying with Tango.. but now I love it! And regarding the DJI controller, it has a great range. The max I tested it was flying around 2km away... I flew with both, Tango and DJI controller in different big bandos as well, flew behind buildings etc.. and never had problems. I prefer Tango because of it's transportabilty advantage and foldable gimbals :)
@@cam_fpv8168 depends on how far you want to fly. If your plan is to do long range and fly on top of the mountains etc.. get Tango and upgrade it to 500mw :)
This popped up on my feed. I’m pretty deep into the scene and hadn’t heard of you before. Good video, subbed... by the way on iPhone the end cards are not displayed across the video when in landscape anymore
@@tomstrojnik oh ok 👍 must just be a setting on mine then 😅 ... So glad you like my content! I’m based in the East Midlands (Nottingham). How about you?
nice thanks a lot! looking forward to my digital upgrade next week, so far I am still on analogue and pretty scared of flying close to things since it is not easy to see with the bad analogue quality haha almost lost my drone on the weekend when I crashed into the snow since I wasn't my battery dying so fast when it is colder :-D
you're gonna love digital, it's like having a television in your goggles :D yeah flying in cold sucks, exactly the same happend to me! Is your drone okay?
Man, you channel is AWESOME. So much great things and I am learning a lot! I subscribed :) Can you please point me to a drone to start with ? What do you think about the Flywoo Mr.crock 6inch with dji air unit ? Thank you very much!!
Hi Diego, thank you so much! New video coming out today :)) I never flew with Flywoo tbh, the two drones I recommend you get as a beginner are: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-24CwjeIk8Ac.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xQzkQNI4eLU.html
Hi Tom! thanks for the great tips! Obviously you are from Slovenia (I saw MB on your car :) ). I wanted to know if there were an existing map of restricted areas for flying drones in this beautifull country (in France we have "Drone spot" app for that) ?
@@tomstrojnik Great! Thanks a lot. Actually I have roots in Ptuj (dedek!) but I was born in France, with some HR roots as well in it. Before I knew about it I already found Slovenia so beautiful ! :)
Good video, and thanks for the tips. However I want to notice a thing, and correct me if I am wrong. I am am correct you shot your video in 30 fps but exported it 24fps. It is noticeable from the wobbling of the image (every 5th frame is dropped). Am I right? If I have to export in 24fps I usually blend frames because the frame dropping technique is easily noticable and doesn't look good. Once you see it you cannot unsee it :)
Yes this is a rookie mistake from me. I'm super busy with doing video production for my clients so I was rushing this edit, because I still want to upload consitently on RU-vid :) Everything was filmed in 25 or 50fps, but Insta 360 footage was recorded in 30fps.. and this video was exported in 25 fps.. can believe I didn't notice this. Good eye bro! :D
Hey 👋 Tom . I am one of your subscriber who is watching u since 4 years now. Anyways❤️. today i want tell to you i am very financially poor to buy these fpv drones and accessories. And i also live in india* kashmir* i am damn sure if i will get a fov drone filming in Kashmir would be incredibly awesome. I want to try that. But as i already told u . Any sort of help from u will be highly appreciated 😊.. #fpvcinematic#brotherhood🙌
Hi, thanks for following my content for 4 years already, means a lot. Master a skill that will enable you to charge more money.. the more value you bring to this world, the more possibilites you have to earn money. Even if it looks impossible now, work hard and stay consistent :) anybody can succeed today, internet literally offers unlimited posibilites. Wish you all the best
Hey, you should make a guide for us FPV cinematic people who are seeking the best production quality. You are able to push out so much quality with your hero 8 from recording to editing to upload, i am curious as to how you go about this. :)
Good idea, will put it down on my RU-vid video ideas list. A few quick tips I would give you are: - Record in a flat picture style in 4K - Nail exposure everytime! - Use ND filters or a polarizer - Learn color grading (this makes the biggest difference) - Plan your shots, before you take off.. have an idea in your head about what kind of shots you want to get :)
Great Video Tom as always :). I was wondering what you think about tango 2 controller? I am currently using DJI Controller with DJI FPV Goggles but this Tango 2 looks tempting. Did you maybe use DJI Controller and how it compares to Tango 2 ?? Thanks !
Thanks man! I fly with both yes and to be honest I prefer Tango because od the smaller size - so huge transportability advantage. In terms of performance and reach, I think they are pretty similar. I used both to fly around 2km away and had no issues. If you get Tango 2 - make sure your drone has Crossfire receiver.. and if you get DJI - make sure it has DJI receiver ofc :)
Hello, you seem like the right person to ask this question from. I have Never flown a drone of any kind!.. and here I am watchin FPV videos! Like many I guess, I have also been inspired by those glorious shots of oceans and mountains and things that could never be gotten in any other way than with a drone for this purpose, etc, etc. The Question: to improve technique... steadiness... agility and everything else, what Software Simulators do you recommend? Perhaps a video just on this subject?... I have not found that much so far, which surprises me. TIA
Thanks for all the videos. Really enjoy your channel and content. I'll be doing a lot of boat chasing this season and those split s opening shots are to die for 👊🏻
@@tomstrojnik Here's the new fishing channel account. I only have one video up at the moment as I'm still collecting fishing footage. The video in question was shot with a Session 5 without stabilization and first time over water. Future videos will be much better now since I picked up some new Gopro's. Again, thanks for all the tips 👊🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s3VuykO9Ut8.html
Absolutely amazing vid and great exercises. I'm impressed by your flying skills, too. Doing it cinematic is a whole different level then just FPV freestyle. But so much more shareable!
Thanks! :) I'm a filmmaker, so my biggest passion is getting that beautiful cinematic footage... but I do enjoy doing FPV freestyle occasionaly! Doing freestyle also helps you sharpen your flying skills!
@@tomstrojnik helps me so much, I always get frustrated like there is a fog over me being able to be creative or express the feeling of flying fpv and your work really clears that and helps me with direction, fpv gave me my life back so your vids are an incredible resource- JB can get us all in the air but this is the path to communication 👍 Hope I didn’t bleat on! 😅
Amazing!! I love your tips and eagerly waiting for more. I also own an Insta360 One R. But I haven't gotten into FPV yet. I'm planning to start diving into this hobby. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thanks for watching. Let me know if you will have any questions about FPV, happy to help :) And yeah Insta360 looks like a great camera, especcialy for low light situations
