Hi Tom Strojnik I just got a TBS tango 2 pro and the sticks have just the tiniest amount of play in them. do you have that problem? Also have you changed the stick tension on your controller?
🎥 My Gopro settings for outdoor Cinematic FPV: ✅ set your resolution to 5.3K and then set your frame rate to 25fps. The only time you should use higher frame rates like 50 or 100 is to capture slow motion. ✅ But secondly, set your picture profile to flat because this will give you the most flexibility when color grading. Next set your bit rate to high, and instead of using the Hypersmooth option, turn this off and stabilize it with Reelsteady or GyrofFlow when editing. ✅ For your ISO keep it as low as possible, but if you’re shooting in low light conditions use a max of ISO800. ✅ For your white balance take a screenshot of the chart showing what Kelvin you should use for different situations. ✅ And finally, set your sharpness to low.
Additional tip for when the horizon is not a part of your picture, you can use the corners of the inner rectangle to place the focus of your image. Make sure to put the secondary focus in the largest remaining part. For example the face of a child looking towards your left, can look better if positioned in the upper right corner. If they're looking up at a building to your right, have their face in the bottom left corner of the middle rectangle and get the building to fill out the top/top-righ/right rectangles
‼️ Stop randomly positioning the horizon in your drone shots and start using the Rule of Thirds for framing your videos. Doing it will immediately make your videos look more professional. Here’s how to do it. First, turn on the Rule of Thirds in the menu. This grid helps you figure out where to place the horizon in your shot, and it won't be visible in the final video. When you're up in the air, position your horizon either on the top or bottom horizontal line. Got a cool landscape or a subject below? Position the horizon on the top line of your grid. But if the sky's showing off with awesome colors or fluffy clouds, let the sky fill up most of your screen, putting the ground on the bottom third. If both the ground and sky look equally good, just split it down the middle. That way, you get a balanced and well composed shot.
I’m planning to do them again, but just have other priorities now (family and filmmaking business). That’s why I’m doing shorts, to still keep uploading some content. But I am planning to do the long-form content one day again🙏🏻 thanks for watching
‼️ The 3 mistakes that are destroying your drone footage.. And #3 may be the most important.. 👉🏻 But firstly, not planning your shots. Because flying without a plan will waste your battery and make you miss moments.. so instead research online for reference shots and create a shotlist. Use tools like google maps to plan your flight path before taking off. 👉🏻 Secondly, Not calibrating your gimbal. Nothing screams amateur more than a tilted horizon so before taking off go into your menu and calibrate your camera here. 👉🏻 But thirdly is NOT flying smoothly. When shooting video avoid doing jittery corrections and instead ease in and out with your sticks. Fly in a straight line, do a rise up or orbit around your point of interest.
‼️How to avoid crashing with FPV Drone on a cinematic fpv filmmaking project: ✅ Location scouting: Before taking off, Look for wires and other hidden dangers that are hard to spot with your goggles. Get to know the place before you take off and share your flight plan with everyone participating in the project. ✅Secondly, when flying, position yourself in a good spot that enables you to see your whole flying area. Don’t fly behind objects where you might lose the drone’s signal. Thirdly, Turn off GPS rescue return home function and have a Kill Switch set on your controller. Better to lose a drone than to create a dangerous situation. ✅And lastly, when chasing a moving object, avoid collision by never crossing directly in front of their path. . . . #cinematicfpv #fpvdrone #fpv #fpvpilot #fpvaddiction #fpvlife #fpvdrones #fpvcinematic #fpvflying #drone #dronevideos #droneworld #dronelove
👉🏻 Precision Flying Tips For Improving Your Cinematic FPV ✅ Firstly, start to practice flying inside trees. Look for a big, wide tree with some open space in the middle and practice slow, precision flying around tree branches. Be very gentle on the throttle. This tight environment will force you to learn how to control your drone by doing micro adjustments with your sticks. ✅ Moving on, once you’re comfortable flying inside the tree, it’s time to challenge yourself in a new environment. Find an abandoned place or an empty stable, old factory, or something similar where you will continue practicing precision flying. ✅ And lastly is to do cinewhoop chasing with your friends. It’s a fun and effective way to quickly learn how to follow subjects. Start in an open grass field, then move on to fly inside trees, and finally, challenge yourself somewhere indoors. #fpv #fpvdrone #cinematicfpv #filmmakinglife #fpvpilot #fpvdrone #fpvdrones #fpvlife #fpvcinematic #fpvflying
DJI Avata 2 drone leaks are out, what do you think? Hopefully it handles flying in windy conditions a bit better than the first version. But what do you think, is DJI Avata the perfect filmmaker’s beginner fpv drone? Even this first version was a very fun drone to fly, let’s see if they’ve improved it😃
🚀 Level up your CINEMATIC FPV with these 3 beginner flying exercises: ✅ Hovering - It’s all about keeping your drone still in one spot, not too high or low. A fun way to practice is by hovering in front of something like a tree branch and trying to keep it right in the middle of your frame. ✅ 360 circles - Find an object and try to keep the same distance all the way around and stay level with the ground. It’s like drawing a perfect circle in the air. ✅ Drone chasing with your friend. The goal is to keep your buddy in the center of your frame, no matter which maneuver he does. It’s a really fun way to improve your skill of chasing, just make sure to talk to each other during flight, so you don’t crash into each other. 🙏🏻 Follow my page for more beginner filmmaking tips. #beginnerfpv #fpvtutorial #fpv #fpvdrone #drone #dronetutorial #cinematicfpv #fpvpilot
