awesome video, would you be willing to recommend a best softbox size that's enough to produce soft light but it's not extremely big? what would be that sweet spot softness/size? thanks a lot!

I love the scenes that you all do, like the movie re-creations as well (Social Network). It reminds me a lot of Spencer Sakurai's channel and you should definitely do more of those.

Hello, your videos are excellent, I would like to know what lens you use in your camera, can you tell me the reference of the lens you use please

Were some of these shots inspired by The Social Network? 1st test was like the scene with Zuckerberg and Eduardo talking in the hallway of Zuckerberg's place in California. 2nd test was like the opening with Zuckerberg and Erica having a fight in the pub. 3rd test was like one of the Zuckerberg Facematch coding/LiveJournal scenes. The bed scene... maybe there was a scene like that in The Social Network which I don't remember off hand. Maybe it's more Girl With The Dragon Tattoo when Lisbeth sleeps with Mikael. EDIT: HAHA! I should have waited until the end of the video! You literally have a "Recreating the lighting of The Social Network" video recommended! EDIT 2: The bed shot *is* from Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, at the end. Got it.

Are you gelling this light for tungsten effects or is it better to go with the bi-color version? Thanks!

In the table scene where you guys are having dinner, you used just one light from above, but how did you make it warm? Coz it's white light.
@AaronandKat
@AaronandKat 3 года назад
Just set the white balance on your camera much higher and it will start to warm up the color temp! 👍🏻

How is the fan on it? When I started my channel I had the SLB60w (the battery powered SL60) and the fan would kick on every 3 minutes... and it was loud enough to spill into my shotgun. I now have the normal SL60w and it is fine--but when I move back to the US this year I plan to sell it and get something new in the States. This might be it, if the fan is quiet enough ;)
@AaronandKat
@AaronandKat 3 года назад
Hey there! The fan on the ML60 was so quiet we never heard it, and forgot to even talk about it in the video. It wasn’t loud enough to remind us it had a fan 👍🏻

Yeah, youtubers are all about LEDs, but when they get on a film set, will they know how to operate hot lights? I honestly still prefer hot lights even though I very much like the convenience of LED. ARRI lights are not comparable to anything else, in my opinion. With that said, the Godox looks awesome!
@WideEyedPictures
@WideEyedPictures 2 года назад
Another (few) question(s): what was your cameras white balance set to? In the 2:57 shot the background light has a green hue to it… is that from a white balance setting or a gel on the light or color correction or that’s just the color of your kitchen? Or something else or combination of any of this? Thank you!
