11:17 for everyone who has come for the music from the top gear africa special. On a side note, its amazing that a supposedly crummy motoring show has such good cinematography and music choice. Very evoking.
Hard not to get a goosebump or two. Powerful, introspective, emotion evoking brilliance as usual from one of the most underrated assemblies of musicians ever.
Thank you (real) Top Gear for choosing niche-market music of this quality and then introducing it to a huge worldwide audience. And in turn, thank you (real) Top Gear for letting us viewers know about all those quality artists that many of us had not known before. And NOT thank you to the BBC for deliberately killing (real) Top Gear off, your one and only relevant programme, go back to watching billiards again.
I think the reason why The Cinematic Orchestra isn't more popular is because people don't have the high fidelity sound system to correctly convey the brilliance of their music. Too many people have shitty systems unfortunately...and they have no appreciation for higher fidelity.
these "artists" who use music in films and such don't use it correctly or for the appropriate film. If you want a good example of using it correctly look up the crimson wing soundtrack, example using it wrong look up another earth trailer..what a great name for a movie BTW.. note these are both Cinematic Orchestra music.
how would this even be considered spam? huh. if you don't agree with it, disregard it and keep scrolling. it wasn't directed at anyone and was perhaps just a thought the person wanted to express because the music moved him to. but for anyone reacting to it --whether it be marking it as spam, when it clearly isn't, or having a tantrum about the existence, or lack thereof, of God is utterly ridiculous.
