So my friend, we have never met, but you have opened my amateur eyes to the things I need to think about when shooting video. And I thank you so much for that!!! All I have is an iPhone XR -Nothing else. And my passion is off-roading in the deserts of the Western US. I have given my best at travelogues, but I can’t wait to apply some of your documentary techniques and guidance to my projects. If you and your family ever have a chance to make it out to the western US, I would be thrilled to take you to the places that no one else goes. Hey man, I've just discover your videos and your words have a lot of sense to me, some nice reflexions about how to be the artist that we really are, all different but with something that calling inside us, our own way of talking thought image. well done Buddddyyy ! quick question. The BMPCC 4k is not listed as a Camera Netflix will accept ..... is this true or is shooting in raw on the BMPCC 4k still qualify technically ? Please respond , big fan !
Thanks for sharing your ideas and experience on to us, every little thing is truly immense appreciated. I don't know if you would care but for the first time I got a job on making a 1 minute testimony of people from a town which is totally polluted contaminated because of lots of industries dumping their shit over the sea and rivers and from which people has got really sick (cancer, lungs problems,...) I've been selflearning or self teaching by looking for information online and learning from RU-vid about filmmaking. So it would be so so so hugely for me if you could give me some advice as I'm travelling there on Saturday with a lawyer's team to film and take pictures. He is paying me to film and edit but there is a journalist who has already written something she thinks will be adequate for 1 min video. Men I've been writing a lot haha I could keep it on just like talking here to contextualize. But... Yeah Im knew at this as is my truly first job! I'm so anxious and excited and happy. Hehe I’m on this big project with too short timeline for ones own sanity! Idea came in May and the 2h doc airs in Oct craaaaazy. Still shooting. Hungary next week. But will be back with a bunch of videos about that project as soon as it’s in the bag :) Yeah that’s a great example of more suggestive emotional storytelling. I love that too, but it’s a struggle to get through on my current project which is a blend of journalism, documentary and vlog! Will do but not without a fight, a lot of arguments about journalism for the sake of journalisms right now...
