Thanks, this was really informative compared to other vids… daylight side open aperture in summer is probably the best use of this film. I found the 400d less grainy which comes at a surprise to me. But then I used 400d as 120 roll. There was a time when I nearly exclusively shot 50 iso slide film (Astia, Provia) to get the fine grain… had to deal with that in the past during evening times and at night… motion blur can have an appeal in some shots.

Yea. There is definitely very little grain in 400D, but that's probably because it's actually 250D movie film. So it's over-engineered for the movie world and natively at a lower ISO (when used in ECN-2 chemicals). I actually have a video on that one coming out soon too. But yea. Summer in 50D is great. Warm and slow, perfect for bright days with a cold drink.

What would you shoot with another roll of 50D? A lot of your photos were very beautiful.

Great question. Something that feels more stylized. Like a specific portrait session or a wedding for a trendy couple.

The most notable aspect of his photos is the considerable pink cast. So, it that from excess aging, cross-processing in C-41, or what? I think I'll put this video with the ""a video a week keeps the YT money coming" group.

Yea bro. I'm Scrooge McDuck here with 200 views.

I consider this video quite informative. I read somewhere else that the tint aswell as the haliation come from removing the remjet layer and processing it in C41.
