Rich chocolate mocha with a subtle aroma of vanilla and cinnamon. The mix of two types of chocolate with aromatic coffee creates a remarkable taste trio. The drink has a creamy softness and spicy aftertaste due to the milk infused with cinnamon and vanilla.
Ingredients:
60 ml (2 fl oz) espresso or coffee
150 ml (5 fl oz) milk
30 g (1 oz) white chocolate
30 g (1 oz) bitter chocolate
1 tbsp. sugar
0.5 tsp. vanilla extract
a cinnamon stick
Whipped cream to taste
Chocolate chips to taste (for decoration)
Method:
1.Break both types of chocolate into small pieces and melt in the microwave or over a bain-marie. Tip! Stir the chocolate regularly to prevent it from burning.
2.Pour the melted chocolate into a saucepan and add a cinnamon stick.
3.Pour milk into the melted chocolate. Bring to a boil, stir, and let it steep for 5 minutes.
4.Brew an espresso or coffee in your preferred method.
5.Pour the prepared coffee into a serving glass and add the chocolate milk and vanilla extract.
6.Garnish the drink with whipped cream on top.
7.Optional, sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
