I do agree with Cindy Beckett though , you'd have less trouble cutting strips out & would be less work if you were to use a pizza cutter ... they make such clean straight lines & most doughs don't stick to them ... Well Catherine, you've done it again! 🤤 Making all these wonderful treats! 🤩 I love how you take items you have on hand and make such mouth watering treats. 🤗 Well I have a treat for you! 😙 Have you ever made cinnamon rolls using frozen bread dough? You can get the frozen bread dough in a package of 3. HEB and Walmart both usually have them. Take out one loaf and put in refrigerator to thaw. Once dough is thawed, roll out to 15x7" rectangle. Spread 2/3 cup softened butter over dough and then evenly sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. In a small bowl, combine 1 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon Starting at the long edge, roll up the dough as for a jelly roll. Cut roll into 16 slices then set aside in 2 lightly buttered round pans, in a warm place and allow dough to rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Once rolls have risen, bake for 15 minutes at 400° until golden on top. While rolls are baking, mix icing. Icing: Beat 1 stick of softened butter and 1/3 cup cream cheese with 1 cup of powdered sugar. Spread icing over cinnamon rolls while still warm. This recipe is from the Pioneer Woman. I found it a few years ago and have been making these light and fluffy cinnamon rolls ever since. Everyone loves them! 😁 This is another kind of shortcut that gives you wonderful results. It saves a lot of time by not having to make the dough from scratch. I've bought the bag of 3 loaves of frozen bread and I don't think I've ever just baked bread. I even used 2 loaves once for an extra big batch of cinnamon rolls! 😋 I hope you get a chance to try this recipe and I would love to know what you think. 😉 Thanks for sharing another great recipe! 🥰

Back in the day, before the decimation of our supply chain, Crescent dough came in one sheet in addition to the regular rolls. It was nice for these types of recipes.

I would add more of the sugar cinnamon mixture inside. I mix powdered sugar with heavy whipping cream, it’s so good on top

Roll the big piece all at once, then cut it into strips. You can use (plain) dental floss to cut the rolls. Saves time.
