i did get an electric peeler and it changed my life!!!, well worth the 20+bucks . i dont hesitate making potato salad and now i have to peel cucumbers.. apple anything is ez. i make my own applesauce. bugs not included😁

Oh Catherine…. I couldn’t wait til morning to make these …so.. I decided not to go to bed 🛌 & make them now & OMG….HOW… did you keep all that hot 🥵 oil UNDER CONTROL… ?… mine just jumped all over the moon 🌙 but that’s ok 👍🏻 bcuz I’m sure the end will justify the means… CANT WAIT TO….GO IN…. As you say…they are cooling waiting for mama to glaze & eat .. 😋 ty so much .. it was fun … only wish my husband was still alive to share this with me …. You & Thomas remind me of BOB & myself… he was the ultimate jokester & so much fun to be around… cherish your time together… oh .. before he passed away from pancreatic cancer we stayed in Katy tx so he could get treatments at m d Anderson’s… you guys bring back memories for me… ty so much

Basically cooking is pretty easy. Just follow the steps. My mom was a lousy cook. My dad always said if she lost the can opener we would starve. But I love to cook from scratch and it's healthier too. God bless.

Now it’s no secret that I LOVE me some apple fritters will be trying these as soon as it gets cool enough here in central Florida to make them. It’s been beastly hot , and getting hotter every year. We never had temps this high and I’ve been here since 1962. Really want to try these looks illegally good.

I dont know if you've made this before but I was watching your recipe for kool aid no-bake pie and it reminded me of something my great grandma used to make all the time (she's still alive, she just doesn't make it much anymore). It's cottage cheese, kool aid, crushed pineapple, and cool whip! It's soooo good. One of my favorite desserts at holidays! I forget what she calls it though.

A couple of years ago APPLEBEE'S restaurant had an apple fritter served with vanilla ice cream and Carmel sauce dessert. I am a chocolate only kind of girl, but my friend wanted to split one. I said, "OK", knowing I wouldn't eat it. Was I wrong! It was pure heaven. Guess what I'm going to make this week? How nice to have a husband that will help you eat the dessert!
