I visited Cinque Terre for the first time two weeks ago and I can’t wait to go back. Stayed in Riomaggiore and visited each the towns using the train pass. Such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for taking me back 😊
loved this vlog and all your italian ones, 1st because I'm italian and live here and 2nd I am so proud you love my country and each year you come several times. I love and feel all your energy on making and film your videos and appreciate it so much ♥ love always your hard work
Hi! I have been binging all of your Italian videos to satisfy my FOMO 🤣 I really enjoy your style of travel content. You give us the REALISTIC points such as, you take the bus, the ferry, walk all the crazy stairs (Capri😆), give us prices of things… I mean alll the things. You tell us where to go for a beautiful photo-op and how long the lines took.. And a packing video to match each vlog 👍🏻Just great! I also watch other travel videos but they are mostly private yachts and swimsuits from Hermes or Chanel. Very nice to look at too, but I need the real-life info I will use in the future. Thanks so much! Keep up the great work 🙌🏻
I’m happy to see you exploring other parts of Italy. Anchovies in Europe are typically served marinated or fried, not packed in salt. In Spain they are bleached white and called boquerones. They are my absolute favorite tapa.
Another amazing travel vlog, Dana! I’m sorry for you to be leaving Italy. It’s as though I’ve been traveling with you. Your reporting style is light, breezy, and informative with pros and cons. Fun all around. And you photograph beautifully❣️
We chose Sarzana as a base to visit the Cinque Terre and it was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful old town full of concerts, vintage markets and great restaurants. It is the real authentic Ligurian town and still little touristy. We recommend it to everyone!
Tremendous video!! I’ve been to Cinque Terre and loved it. You do a lovely job of showing us the place and the food. It feels like I’m back in this wonderful place. You are a beautiful couple and thank you so much. 😊
Loved this vlog. We went to Vernazza a few years ago and stayed in the yellow house on the cliff next to the church. Such a wonderful experience. It was a great stop over between Florence and Rome. So relaxing. Glad I got to relive it thru you.
My family and I were just there last week. We did a day trip from Florence and I was in love with the place. We were able to see all 5 villages. ❤ Thank you for sharing your experience.
I’ve been looking at doing a day trip from Florence too! Did you feel as you could really enjoy each spot? See the beach? Have a nice lunch and drinks stuff like that?😊
This American learned to love anchovies in Monterosso. I'm lucky enough to have been to Cinque Terre twice. It was fun to see my hotel in your video. Great vlog.
Dana beautiful video, took me back a few years when I visited Cinque Terra with my husband. Please consider traveling to Puglia would love to see that side of Italy.
My Italian husband and I stayed here back in 2008 when the Via del'Amore was open and explored the whole area from our B&B in Riomaggiore. Our hosts were two elderly sorelli and they were so sweet & funny! Def, one of my most favorite places in all the world. The famous wine of the region is Sciacchetrà and it is sooo good and perfectly paired with the Spaghetti a Vongole! I'm surprised ya'll did not experience the limoncello and the limone gelato made with limoncello! Too Die For! Ya'll should do Firenze and Roma next! Ciao!
I loved this video! My friend and I went to the Cinque Terre last year and stayed in Vernazza. Watching your video brought back so many amazing memories. Also thank you for your videos it so helped me plan my trip to Positano that we just got back from. Without your videos we would have been so lost. Have fun!!! Cindy
Cinque Terre is such a cute place to visit. We’ve been twice now during our cruise stops so it was really quick visits but loved them. The pesto is unreal we loved it at a place in Riomaggiore especially. Train sounds amazing because we travelled by car each time we had to walk from top to bottom and I felt so out of breath and out of shape but the views were worth it 😂😂 if we make it there another time would love to stay in a village like you did and explore easier. I wonder if there are boats or ferry’s that can take you to different villages too!
Absolutely stunning, loved watching this! If you are ever back and feeling a bit more adventurous, if you walk out toward the rocks (along the jetty or past the church) you get such a lovely view of Vernazza from a different angle. Also Ristorante L'Ancora della Tortuga was an absolute DREAM.) Happy travels :)
loved the views❤️🥰 less touristy, more of a local vibe, loved it all❤ for all the walking you do, better trainers are needed👍love all your outfits, minus the open toe berkenstocks! don’t do anything for the lick of your outfit or walking ability! i’m envious on how much food you guys can eat! totally envious😳
Fabulous travel vlog as always, what beautiful villages (though super busy !!) So interesting to see what you eat & drink and useful advice & suggestions.
I loved Cinque Terre. They have a wine you can only get there called Sciacchetrà. I love it so much that I get it shipped to the US. Next time eat at Ristorante Miky. It’s a Michelin starred restaurant in Monterosso. Great place.
Another great video! I’d love to see Al do a what he packs video like you do sometimes. Yours are really helpful for my wife, but I need to know what to bring as well. We are going to Italy at the end of September so the sooner the better! 😉
Thank you for bringing us along! I've always wanted to go here but never sure if it was worth staying in the area or doing a day trip. I think I'd stay in Vernazza and explore the area. Looks like a great area to just chill and live la dolce vita!
Hi! I'm trying to plan my day in Monterosso. Which beach club did you rent your chair at? Did you buy food and drinks outside the beach club? Do they all let you bring your own food and drinks? Sorry for all the questions!
You should try the boat and visit Porto vénère it’s a nice place too. I was there 2 weeks aga and walked the trails between vernezza and montorosso, it takes more three hours because a lot of people, hot temp and many many stairs ( my Apple Watch cont 72 stages, so it’s not and easy walk thank’s for the souvenirs ❤
Dana, love your vlog. We will be in the Cinque Terra area this fall. Love your B&B location. I tried the link but was unable to find it. Could you give me more information about it. Thank you Tina
This is probably the best Cinque Terre vlog Ive Seen this far! It’s so funny because I feel like we’re doing the same Italian itinerary, you did Venice, lake Como, and now cinque Terre and Rome which is the same exact itinerary I’m doing! Im also staying in Varenna and Vernazza! I’m going in august and I’ve loved these videos so much! Thank you for all the great restaurant recommendations!
I really enjoy your vlog. I have one question, when did you go to Cinque Terre? I am going this year around November but I was hoping to get an idea of the weather.
This was great my significant other and I are going in September. also, please tell me where you got your first necklace that you’re wearing. I didn’t see it on your like to know it.
This really was a wonderful vlog, I really have to go, it was on my list of places to go to but you have really given me the encouragement to go. I can’t get the b&b link to work. Would you be able to send me the name please. Thank you again for such wonderful content. I have watched so many of your vlogs now. So professional and entertaining with great tips .
Would you recommend a trip like for this someone who just doesn't love seafood? I love pasta of course. But I'm more of a chicken and beef girl. Did you see these options on menus?
Thank you! I don’t add prices because they change. You can google the restaurant and find menus online. This is the best and most accurate way to price out dining on a vacation
@@DanaBerezI understand but isn't Lake Como a bit more upscale than these villages with laundry hanging out the window...I see that here in Brooklyn...
