That harmless looking cube is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. Edit: Its also illegal its uses ARP Spoofing. It also uploads all your data to the cloud, and if that gets leaked all your information is basically open for anyone. Stupid device.

There are two types of people commenting on this video. The first are parents: "Thanks for the help! This will be an easy way to finally track and manage the exposure my munchkins have in an otherwise limitless world of information and experience they are surely mostly NOT mature enough to deal with, nor do they have the self-controlled wherewithal to even desire to do so!" that's what I'm saying. kind of useless too. they don't know that they can unplug the internet cable for free, and parents should know how many devices they have. like shouldn't it be a no brainer that the parent knows when a kid has a phone. its like they forget 1 second how many devices they have.

It's weird as soon as I create a teen profile..and when I add devices it Automatically stops the internet to the devices without adding any filters yet...any ideas why?

Yes that is correct. When you install the companion app it still is able to monitor their usage and keep track of how much time is spent.

What's the use of that if my kids knows to install VPN applications to their phones and tabs? Boom everything is there to see opened. Even adult sites. My question is can this Circle disable other devices in the network to not install VPN applications. If not my friend there is no use of this.

Ahmd Naube you can manually install restrictions on your kids electronics to ban the App Store so they can’t download vpn’s but If they are tech savvy enough there are even ways to bypass that, Honestly if I were you I would accept the fact that my kids will found ways to work around the circle(trust me, from a kid who’s done it multiple times in multiple fashions, if they are determined enough they will find a way), and I would just teach them basic internet safety and be upfront with them about what you don’t want them to do, providing good reasoning and such, and even if your kids won’t listen then, you’re probably better off taking their electronics altogether

Yes you are able to unplug the Circle+ from the router and have still function. Just make sure it is as close to the router as possible.

Great idea, IF the parents act as parents instead of being their kids “best friends”. Parenthood is not a popularity contest, and usually, it is not until later in life, that the kids actually come to really appreciate what their parents sacrificed and did for them in their growth and development. With so many influences that are not to the children's best interests, let alone adults . . . for those who are responsible, this control is a welcome tool!

That's a great gadget.....my wifi is on 24X7...kinda of a hassle to switch it off....I think we use a different system....even the landline won't work with some providers if the wifif is off.
