Hello everyone,
I hope you're well.
Today I am going to create the "CIRCLE OF LIFE" necklace.
The idea for this design came from watching the Paris Olympics. Nostalgia hits me every 4 years remembering my time as a Paralympic swimmer. I was looking for old photos and of course once you start you can't stop. Each diamond represents a photo, a moment in life. We all have our memories printed on photographs or embedded in our memory and all together they create our circle of life.
Also, what better time to create a single ring than during the Olympics?
The five intertwined rings representing each continent, showing the world that together we are better.

I cry every video. I was an apprentice jeweler. My teacher was so gifted it blew my mind. He didn't have all this new high tech equipment. Old old school. I learned so much and got to make some beautiful things. My teacher died in Hawaii where we were on the Big Island. His name was Douglas Glenn. God bless you Doug. And god bless this man Pablo. He has one more with his life than most and with half of his body. Pablo, you are very gifted. Thank you for reminding me of the best years of my life.

I have been working with my father making fine jewelry for 8 years. You are a true master. Thank you for inspiring so many people to follow the craft.
