I cannot wait to get VR. I have PSVR2 and Sony will release a hardwer that will make PC compatible :) I will start to prepare for Knockhill, and try to build my own setup and I will compare it to yours on the weekend :) Let the Fun begin :)
@JVCIstvan I like the sound of that, compare notes. Once you go vr there's no going back. Hopefully Sony will be open xr compatible and you should be gtg, steam is good too but I find open xr the best
@@edwardbuchanan871 I worked on it :) I love the setup :) Will test short stack later. I think I will be able to run 27 comfortably. I had a test session of 49 C track I could run high 27, but it was super difficult. The car was still stable though.
Thanks as always Ed! I've used your Rudskogan setup to practice here previously but have been keen to see what you could custom tailor for this track. Just got Sebring done with one (only) good race and this time I managed to avoid most of the carnage, which was plentiful. Looking forward to Ledenon, most of the corners have good run-off areas. but that tight right hander at the bottom of the hill at the end of the first section is certain to send the hot heads bouncing back into traffic with monotonous regularity, and its already giving me nightmares.
Well technically c just gotta do mpr timetrials n wait or get more sr, ah I was 2.99 n got -14 lol, gonna have a race on ff1600 though as I need more practice on ledanon
I've managed to wrestle your previous setups through tech but not this one, RR is too low. Tried all the tricks. Love these videos and setups but frustrating trying to get these through tech. Would you consider uploading these files somewhere, Garage 61 maybe?
Well, that's weird because the ride height isn't that low. Is your fuel at 13 or 14 L because if it's qualy fuel that might fail. I will check out garage 61, but I can't make a promise
@@edwardbuchanan871 the setup screen is so bizarre in iRacing. With those settings, I can't get the rear pushrod offset lower that -8mm before i get the too low flag on the right rear. I believe the pushrod offset is the last thing I should be changing? Edit: Fuel at 14L.
I adjust ride first myself, but doing it last seems to help with people who run into trouble. I check the ride height first, make sure the car isn't too low, then suspension stiffness, then camber and toe. And yes I start at 14L . Once the car is good then I figure out it's 14,13 or 12
Ya, the iracing garage can be fussy. Make sure the camber and toe values are the correct positive and negative, when you switch one sometimes others change. Lowering the ride height last, change everything else first, usually works as well
