@@treyhudson73 let's say your amen break is at 145 and your project tempo is 160. Using the new feature, the first pink button will set the break at 80 and the second button at 160. Instant time stretch! I've only tried it out on one break, we'll see how well it works for more in the near future.
@@vznquest I see what you're saying. By having both buttons right there you know you have 1/2 time for percussion. Not really time stretch, as the tone will change, but close enough to be damn useful!
@@treyhudson73 you are right, it appears the tone does change. a true time stretching algorhithm would be dope, but this is nice for now. i was having trouble matching my breaks perfectly before this lol
awesome update this is getting better each update ive had this awesome machine today almost a year last year around this i bought new and get a whole update NOVATION KICKS ASS tech support , updates only gripes is we need more videos just showing sampling n live beat making again novation 2022 killed it
@@tsuriranpu it does what it does well. Sure, an update that brings new features would be nice. I’d love to have a bit more control over samples (no reason why we can’t have the drum tracks have more of Circuit Rhythm sample editing features). More than 8 patterns per track. A few more FX. Synth Patch flip at least per pattern. And of course audio over usb. But, I still love mine and don’t really see what i’d replace it with, if I sold it. That said, a year with no updates makes me feel like Novation does not support it’s products like they used to.
Not quite. The Beat Match feature doesn't require a pattern to be entered into the sequencer. The Sample currently selected in Sample View would be used, regardless of whether you've entered anything into the sequencer. If Beat Match is available for the sample, two pink pads will appear in the top row in Sample Mode View. Depending on the sample length, you can snap the pitch of the sample up and down to loop relative to the current tempo. If the sample is already tempo matched, the two pink pads change the sample’s original pitch up or down one octave.
@@bankrow That's right. Holding Clear and turning the Tune macro clockwise until the LED turns blue will remove the changes made by the Beat Match feature.
