actually you don't really have to clean much more either. the secretions are supposed to be a self clean feature even if it doesn't smell clean. it gets cleaned whenever one showers, every day or even couple of other days, that's it. more than enough.

There are no real "drawbacks" of what millions of years of evolution has given us and the notion that we can improve on it by crudely amputating parts has caused and still does, much suffering. The "drawback" you speak of is an extension of the old purity notion when ostracised uncut people were to be treated as being a contamination risk in the same way as for example the Pakistani Christian women Asia Bibi. It is a bullying tactic employed to enforce a social norm and give a false sense of superiority over outsiders of the cutting community. As such it is an absolute disgrace that it is perpetuated in the 21st century. There is no evidence that an unclean intromittent bodypart is cleaner if parts are amputated, why on earth would that be the case?

I got circd when I was 15 for medical reasons and I'm the exact same. The pain was awful post-surgery and it gave me severe body dysmorphia. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

Thats how different it can go. I was cut at 4 or 5 years because of a phimosis and they really took the whole skin away, but I have no complications now. On the other hand, I can not relate to how it would be otherwise, because I was way too young to remember anything about it.

I did mine at the age of 19. I remember she poke me with a needle and I didn't scream but I have to be brave. When suddenly, it felt numb, didn't feel anything. Still hurts a little. It took me 2 or 3 weeks to recover because I have change the cloth until the tread dissolve! 😰

This is an unnecessary cosmetic surgery being forced on an infant who *cannot* consent. You cannot compare that to women giving birth, something the woman consents to, and is necessary to create more people. Besides, they have different types of things to help with the pain for giving birth.

I'd feel the same, if my partner wanted a son circumcised I wouldn't allow it. It's just not going to happen.

I know for a kid the mother generally has the final say but I strongly believe circumcision is the one thing that should be up to the father's final decision

How do you know what they feel or don't. I had my son circumcised and he didn't even wake up during the process. Newborns don't know what pain is. They literally don't know anything. So how do you know they process pain like we do?

Some things are more painful for adults. EX: chicken pox.

I do but my son is circumcised 😁😁😁 and can say that's cap bc my son was circumcised a different day and I had to pay extra for him to get pur to sleep

I can answer this. If it's done early, the head loses some sensitivity. I have no complaints as far as a loss of sensitivity. I dont know how uncircumcised guys last more than 2 minutes in the bedroom if its that sensitive. Also being cut is super low maintenance.

Because we do not feel any constant pain. I would know because I was circumsized when I was a baby and I do not feel any pain from that area at all.

From what I know the head pretty much gets tougher. For uncut guys it stays sensitive and "smooth" while cut guys have it slightly rougher. The process is called keratinization.

@@beaudavis3808 Well it’s less that and more that the head is quite sensitive. If mines rides up while I’m wearing pants, it’s the most uncomfortable experience ever
