I used to feel so puzzled back when Michael Jackson wore a multitude of hair "noodles" dangling over the font of his face. Not only would that be a hazard to good vision, but it would have irritated the crap out of me.
Hi, I just watched your video on hair care routine and I would like to know more about the sulfur soap (I'm a chemistry student). Do you know anything more about the type of sulfur in the soap? There are many forms of sulfur compound (colloidal sulfur, selenium sulfide, etc.) A brand name or an ingredient name would be super helpful for my research. All the best ☺️💛
knowing that the actual hairstyle was a wig that the stylists could just add more hair wherever needed, I think you did a pretty good job of recreating it.
'Hair in your face is annoying.' THANK YOU!! That's what always bugs me about tv/movie hair, how are you supposed to run a gauntlet or fight monsters with hair in your eyes all the time?? Great tutorial. I'm obsessed with Francesca's braids in this season if that's something you're interested in trying.
What I thought I'd heard is that those are to disguise the wig. With real hair, you can pull it back and get a clean hairline, but I guess with a wig if the hairline is really visible, you can see that it's fake.
Hair in your face is SUPER annoying. It's very realistic to my life though-- I constantly have pieces come out of my braid/bun/ponytail to get in my face or just stick out weirdly. I have pretty slippery hair, though. I've also had the whole ponytail fall out multiple times while doing Tae Kwon Do. Would not recommend, but I've been able to continue until there was a break where I could fix it. My headcannon for Ciri is that she's not used to doing her own hair and she keeps missing parts of it or those parts escape super easy. She's lucky it looks that good 😂
Francesca's hair is so gorgeous, I'm also dreaming of someone making a tutorial. There should be some point in me having long-ass hair, maybe I could wear it in something else than pigtails sometimes
Also fighting with long hair is not easy, let alone with it in your face. I used to do martial arts when I had hip length hair and that was the biggest challenge I had the entire time: finding a way to secure and balance the hair on my head without causing myself or others injury. Those Chinese braids in old martial arts movies? They are NOT fun to have in real life! The people I fought with used to get mad at me because I had an 'extra attack.' lol But getting hit in the face with the end of your own braid is PAINFUL!
'I want to make this quick, so...' (proceeds to brain hair that is longer than the curtains on the bed) 'I recommend a coffee break.' lol, I love your sense of humor!! And YES, hair in the face has ALWAYS been a huge pet peeve of mine. But I always thought I was alone in this.
I do not recommend hair in your face if you’re doing ballet either. When I saw that Ciri finally put her hair out of the way for workouts after that sword lesson with Geralt I was hyped because I know how much of a bother loose long hair can be during exercising. And then I saw the bits around her face and my soul left my body, because they are clearly long enough to be braided in. The only reason I’m not losing my mind over Geralt’s sad sad bangs as well is because I tried to trim mine about a month ago to get rid of leftover dye on the ends and now they look like his and I don’t think he’s got Bobby pins to tuck them into a French braid like I’m doing currently.
I know that you might get this a lot but your grey hair and general love for cottagecore you are THE PERFECT person to cosplay Sophie from Howl's moving castle
I think the most revolutionary invention in the Witcher’s world would be the advent of bobby pins lmao. I loved the hairstyle! My hair is finally long enough again to try one of your tutorials so I’ll be trying this as soon as I figure out fish braids by myself 😅
I love you, man. I've had knee length hair for as long as I can remember but I can't for the life of me find people online who know how to style it and I can't commit to any other length because I love it so much. You're godsent.
This is wonderful! I love Yennefer's hair in season 2 of the witcher too! If you could make a tutorial for that I would overjoyed!! Love your channel xxx
Hmmm, I loved Yennefer hairstyles, especially when she was "in the sewer" 😁 and came out of it with her hair perfectly intact 🤷♀️. And yes, Fringilla's and Francesca's hairstyles are challenge ‼️🤦♀️
Just lovely! In movies and other costuming, the tendrils, or larger amounts of hair, might be "styled" around the hairline. This is to hide the unnatural quality, of a hairline, on a characters wig or hairpiece. Yes, hair can obstruct the vision. I also find it annoying to be fluffed all around my face when sleeping.
I love your videos! I also have extremely long hair, and it's SO hard to find good hairstyles that actually work. I just generally love your sense of humor and style as well! Lol
I love your sense of humor, I'm reminded of myself when I had hip length hair. I'm back to waist length and trying decide if I'm going to keep going or get it cut. I'm still on the fence. But being able to do Witcher hairstyles MIGHT sway me to keep going! ;)
Km long hair. Yep, me too. I would love to try this, but will have to wait some time as I have a frozen shoulder. Thanks vaccine placed too high on my arm. 😑 I can barely brush my hair, let alone do anything fun. I'm lucky to do a lazy wrap bun or simple braid...
I really love this channel! I'm from Mexico and might not always understand the culture but your videos always put me in a good mood, even when I'm feeling down.
So excited to try it!! 😍♥ Luckly I just cutted off about 7 cm of hair, so it's going to be faster than usual 😂 Hoping for some elven hairstyles next time!!
I was so hoping that you would do this hair style and you did not disappoint. And yes, while I do find it pretty fetching on other people, hair in your face is torture!
Damn girl this is the first time i am watching your video.. half way through it and i already like it so much.. that i Had to pause the video and write it here for you!🥰
As a theatre major we were always advised when costuming or something for an actor, try not to have too much going on in front of the face so all the while watching this I wanted to swat Geralt’s strands away. Course in film and tv the rules may be different BUT STILL!!!!
my mother had hair just like you but not grey yet black in color and i really tell you that we both look very similar to each other due to our facial features, you just look like my elder sister omg. i love your way of speaking keep it up ❤
With the terrible things going on right on your doorstep, I am hoping you are doing okay out on the farm. We haven't heard from you in a while, and I know planting time is busy, but please let us know you and your husband are ok. Be well.
I can't wait to try this when my hair is finally dry. It's thick enough that I think the fishtail could be a strand by itself. Now I just need a fishtail tutorial, cause I've never tried it before...
Hi Anna, just found and love your channel! Austrian🇦🇹 here, and rediscovering the love for my folk culture with your videos! Would love to see something on "how to put folk elements into everyday outfits" . Same as you, i do a lot of physical, dirty work everyday, would love to bring some folk beauty into it though ! Youre doing great, love to see this type of content!! All the love!!! ❤🌻🌷🦋
Ha ha, I always think the same thing whenever I see those hair-in-the-face styles on characters - how can they stand all that hair hanging in their faces?
Love your tutorial! When my layers are long enough I will try this hairdo as it's my sort of style - but only the back of my hair is long enough at the moment. I also will dispense with the annoying wispy bits in the face! Is there any chance you could do Francesca's crazy hairstyle from S2. E.6? When she and Fringilla are walking by the lake. It looks like her whole head is a gordian knot of braids.
You have to be able to see, this is why I also dislike bangs. I have faux bangs if I need them, I have yet to need them. I do admire your hair, mine is very fine and straight in comparison with yours. I must find my photos of your easy daily style, which I do love. Enough rambling from me. Happy new year and have a good day.
back when i used to train for my belt tests in my dojo my sensei would always yell at us for having hair in our faces. It's dangerous as it blocks your peripheral vision and if you have to fight more than 2 people you don't need hair in the way of you winning of in this case y'know not dying from a monster.
I just watched the episode and I really appreciate the effort you put into it. Will you try Francesca's hairstyle next? From what I can see, there are a lot of different braids going on. up there.
I have baby hairs next to my face that never grow, so I like hairstyles that keep them down, but I do these braids for fun, not practicality. 😄 Fantasy, right? 😄
Have you ever seen the show "Vikings"? I've watched all 6 seasons twice, (Highly recommend and wish there were 20 seasons lol) I love it so much. But the hairstyles on that show were so elaborate and captivating. And I would have no idea where to start with doing them on myself. Would you consider trying your version of a few of them?
Me: OMG I'm growing my hair as long as her, it looks so beautiful! Also me: (*sees you wrestling with your hair*) nope, I am not that committed to looking beautiful after all.
Anna, I just saw you on an American TV show called the Daily Mail! They showed several random clips from your channel and said young people are embracing their gray hair. They didn't provide your name or channel, darn it. Thar might have brought you some new subs. One thing they got wrong was saying that you only shampoo once a month "to preserve the color". LOL, I guess they think you'd turn brunette if you shampooed more often?
I love ur videos,, but how do u keep the oils under control? I have long hair and struggle with washing it due to disability.. I just throw it it up in a pony tail and go.. but the oils are a bit hard to deal with. I tried dry shampoo and well, that didn't go too well.. lol..
Ohhh this. I tried to troubleshot Egwene’s braid and I got a “””fairly accurate””” version that doesn’t take me long to do, so I’m happy. But I am so sure I missed like 70% of the details and intricacies too.
