Ammend - somewhere down there is my post about my Ciro cup holder and the mounting bracket that broke. Ciro responded on here and got me to contact them. I did and they made it right. Also the person I spoke with (not using names w/o permission) was very genuine and took time to actually have a conversation about it. I have to say they stand behind their stuff. I have a couple of Ciro items and this is the only thing I ever had an issue with. Now I know I can rely not only on their products but also on the company's belief in their stuff. Yep I'll buy more Ciro!
Cirro did mine at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston... I personally think it might be the best lighting safety upgrade out there for the Street glide or Road glide. I already had the Custom Dynamics LED conversion with the Xtreme flasher... My friends told me with all the flashing it took to long to figure out which way I was turning. Put the bag blades in front of all that and it's the best of both worlds... Brakes and stock turns can flash bit the Amber bag blades adds lighting and clears up any confusion on what is happening next!
Thanks John. Just installed on my 19' Road Glide (red only version) and did not need the controller. Glad you added the tip on tucking the connectors. I also agree with your comment that the wires should be longer.
I didn't think the reflectors were all that bad until you put on the new signal lights...BIG improvement. I like the way the turn signals look. Way Cool John, Thanks for the video.
I put the all red ones on my 14 SG , I'm glad I went with these because of the slim profile. I agree about the harness , I actually ordered extensions from Ciro.

I didn’t realize when I saw pics of the Standard that those were reflectors. What were they thinking? Nothing would be better. Like the lights a lot. Never too much light on the back with the bike blind cagers. Thanks

Great video. I just installed mine and they look fantastic. I just wish I could get them to light up. I have installed lights and stereo's on motorcycles for 45 years and these do not light up. They were easy to install on my 2017 Ultra Limited, I watched 3 videos, read the instructions hooked it up correctly and they will not light up for the running lights, brakes, blinkers, 4 ways. Nada nothing works. Other than that they look cool.
I like that new Electra Glide Standard more and more every time I see it. I'm in the market for a new bike but I am torn between it and the Heritage Classic 114. Decisions, decisions... I wonder if Harley will add the Bonneville Salt White paint for the Heritage next year? If they do it's a wrap and will definitely me in my garage.
Pretty sweet!!! Personally I dont want to have to deal with wires running to my bags and I immediately noticed how little slack they had....its typical that some companies give you 3 feet too much wiring that you have to figure out how the heck to tuck it all away or they go the other route and you have just barely enough to even wire it up at all..LOLZ. THe way they have the light slowly lighting up in the direction you are turning is pretty slick...way cool actually!!
Awesome straight talk, John. That's why I'm a subscriber. Wonder if you'd tackle a cruise control addition? My Older Heritage Classic had it, my Road King Police Edition does not. It's a few years old so it has steel cable throttle & clutch still. Would sure appreciate some of your kind of schooling.
Definitely dope! I might have to wait for version 2.0 with the longer harness wires. Just ordered the Air Wing luggage rack and light kit from Harley for the Ultra Classic. I'm looking at the Ciro adjustable passenger comfort peg mounts for my shorty passenger. They look pretty sweet, like all Ciro stuff.
Great install vid as usually, love your channel, keep it up. While I like the lights I never thought of the wiring running through the bags & eventually to the harness. Minor pain but glad I get a visual since I take the bags off often for Maintanance & cleaning
I get that product reviews can be a bit much, but it does help a lot of people find what they need/want for their bikes. I try to throw in some tid bits that help no matter what you install. The area behind the battery, and that brown wire going to the right turn signal is true for a lot of stuff!

A couple of things..I have a ‘15 SG CVO, I can’t decide on the amber or red tune signal. Part of me wants to keep it all red in the back and the other part thinks I should go amber because it would get more attention. What are your thoughts John? Secondly, I have to agree with you with on the wiring harness. Having a CVO and already having wiring run to each saddlebag, it would be nice to keep the connections all together. Why not have a Ciro harness run from under the seat, follow the factory harness (or along the frame) to where it connect to the saddlebag. From there, you have a shorter pigtail off from the light and have the connector with the factory connector on the saddle bag for a nice clean install? Hopefully we run into you in Laconia 🤘🏼
Thanks John, I got the filler lights and the bag blades, I commute 120 miles a day half the year in the dark both directions. Thinking more and more, that more light is the key to not get ran over. I haven't liked anything else. These look great and i can run them myself. Any chance of a warranty issue with them, i am assuming should not be an issue and can always unplug them, but kind of hard to remove them.By the way, i already ordered them and put your name down where i heard of them from.
John good video. When is harley coming out with the run,stop,turn module for the existing rear turn signals only ? It would be a great compliment for the bag blades and filler panels. I run Ciro filler panels, tail light and center brake light on my 18 Ultra

I need to find something like that for my sporty. The guy I bought it from took off the turn signals because of the saddlebags which I use a lot and has the all in one brake light which is bright but kinda scares me when I wonder if other people behind me see it
@@TheHarleyTech my bad, I was looking at the SnakeEyes, Filler Panel, and Tour Blade's...I would like all of the rear options available in Red/Red or Red/Amber, but yes the Bag Blades are available in Red/Red
Hey John those are very nice, but be careful not to bite the hand that feeds your main income, I’m sure Ciro‘s are cheaper than the Harley version. But the Harley version or a little larger I have them like them very much also but cannot put down the Ciro’s Either they do have a different look.
The motor company doesn’t sign my check. Chattahoochee Harley Davidson is privately owned like all H-D dealerships. Ciro3d is also available at all of those dealerships, too. Neither the H-D version or the Ciro version is necessarily “better” than the other. They do have a different look, and offer different features. So what one person may like, another may not.

Why wouldn't you fill those massive holes between the bags with light instead of the top of the bags? I filled mine with custom dynamics fillers, pro beam lights, they look great and are very bright. Plus they fill the hole Harley left.

So I noticed that bike has The bullet type turn signals. My question is can you run them through the controller also. Like run a turn Break? I do not understand why Harley takes lights off the back of the bike. Like the streetglide The ultra they take the brake light off at one they take the turn signals off the other. And then they charge you more money. Oh I like the lights. Thanks
I can´t say about every Harley but the ones that I know all come from the factory with the possibility to leave the turning or hazard lights on with ignition off as well in accessory mode. Very important and safe when you have to leave your bike in case of emergency to warn other traffic and of course you don´t want to leave the ignition on. To my surprise I noticed that the controller that comes with the Ciro lights does not support the turning or hazard function with ignition off or in acc. mode. I think this is an error in the controller. When discussing this with Ciro, they trivialise the problem and at first did not understand why this matters. Even my suggestion to change this in future controllers to make the rear lighting a lot safer is not changing Ciro´s position in this. ´´It isn´t an issue´´ they say.
Thanks a lot for all the videos I got a huge question I'm a new Harley Rider I rode dirt bikes when I was younger I just purchased a Harley from a dealership it was used they brought it over from another dealership because it was the only 2014 Dyna Fat Bob for sale they told me they do a how many ever point inspection but within two days I'm having it about 40 miles later I noticed the tread on the front tire was below 2 32 seconds so I took it in they said they would handle it they also notice my rear brake light wasn't working Now isn't that something especially with the tire it would have been covered in inspection most of my knowledge I'm getting from you and looking up things from trusted sources I'm supposed to pick my bike up today the 16th or tomorrow the 17th of April I would just like to know your thoughts on this
