This explains a lot. With two deceased brothers, a 3 rd about to die and my dad well on his way from ascites, this tells me everything I need to know.

I had an INR of 15 and was told to get to hospital ASAP. Short version i was diagnosed with an ampullary tumour. Also compensated cirrhosis. Doing great after whipple procedure. Not alcohol related FYI

Hi I am from India ,my father used to take lasix he has not maxed out diuretic dosage but doctor says he has diuretic resistant ascities and he has added midodrine 7.5 mg daily for 30 days with albumin ,with no diuretics now in the middle of this treatment he had water accumulation in belly and therapeutic paracentesis was performed . I don't understand why this paracentesis was performed as he has not maxed out diuretic dosage yet

Thank you for the explanation!!!!! I had also suffered from Ascites a few years back I took many allopathy medicines but it was completely useless then I came to know about Planet Ayurveda. I contact them and prescribed some herbal medicines and also prescribe me a diet chart. I followed both things and it took 8-9 months to get normal. Today I am fine and I am really Thankful to Planet Ayurveda.
