I just bought my first plane, a Cirrus SR-22 G3. I picked it up in Palm Beach and immediately took it over to the Bahamas. We worked our way back home stopping at Merritt Island (COI), Daytona (DAB), Saint Simons Island (SSI), Augusta GA (AGS), Greenville SC (GMU), Elizabethton TN (0A9) and finally back home to Cincinnati (I68) cirruslife

I can't wait to do it again. I'll have a much better idea of the procedures. Ill also be ahead of the airplane instead of behind.

@@faisalsultan892 Hopefully you can find some value from the videos. At a minimum you can see some really fun places to fly to.

How long did it take you to transition from the 182 to cirrus? Secondly was it very difficult? Thanks in advance for your time.

The flying wasn't the hard part. The Cirrus is more docile and a bit quicker. Transitioning to the Garmin Perspective is what took a while. It took me about 25 to 30 hours before I felt comfortable with the avionics and glass panel. I much prefer to fly the Cirrus over a 182.

OK, so . . .took me awhile to find this one. Nice video. Back to the elephant in the room. . .were the failures "simulated" or real?

They were simulated. We did transition training over a few days as we were bringing the Cirrus back to Ohio from Florida. We covered all of the simulated emergency situations during the training.

Why did you abruptly chop up edit the video so bad 👎
@bdschaaf

It was hours of video that I was trying to condense. I cut to the parts with talking and sped up the parts without talking. I was limited to one camera and was newer to editing. The batteries died multiple times along the flight home and was doing the best I had with the videos I recorded. I agree it could have been better, but it was limited by battery life and storage.
