I still have the 27th Edition, would the new changes/shifts in the new manual still suffice reading the 27th Edition. Or would you recommend purchasing the 28th Edition.
If you're using the 27th Edition of the CISA Review Manual, you're still in good shape since it covers all the key concepts you'll need for the exam. However, the 28th Edition does have some new additions that reflect recent industry trends-things like cloud security, AI, blockchain, and more updated risk management and cybersecurity audit practices. While the 27th Edition can definitely get you through the exam, the 28th Edition just gives you that extra edge with these new topics. So, if you want to be fully up-to-date, I’d recommend getting the 28th Edition, but you’re not at a major disadvantage with the 27th if that’s what you have.
