This was very clear and easy to understand. I learned more by watching this video than reading an entire chapter on this subject.

Your videos are awesome sir. I used to follow the Cisco videos which just provided me information whereas yours gives me knowledge. I felt more like a teacher explaining like you are pausing at appropriate intervals giving us time to digest. Slide show is really good. Very much useful. :-)

Great question, Jeff. Thanks for bringing it up. Both are correct. It depends entirely on the objective. In the example at 21:07, the objective was to prevent traffic from going out g0/0, so the access-list was applied on outbound traffic. In the demo, the objective was to block pings from coming into the router interface, so the access-list was applied to inbound traffic. It's not a matter of always applying it in or out, but of understanding the traffic flow and the goal of the config.

Very good. One minor thing, you mentioned at 21:07 it would be an Out but in the demo you applied the list to the IN of the interface.

1- What is the difference with QoS if sending Stream or File Transfer ? 2- If i send two signals what is the difference in Qos? Or can the QoS handle two signals together? 3- What is the relationship between QoS and TCP, UDP?

Bear in mind that in or out is from the perspective of the router, not the subnet.

Sir, this was a great video, but i have a question for you! Some books talk about *Per Protocol* Where you said *Per Type*, is there any difference? Thanks

I really wish people would stop saying ( www ) when giving a website address. People know by now that its the World Wide Web. Please stop saying ( www ) and it was only needed when the Internet first started back in the 90's. I even see videos that was even created in 2018 saying ( www ) smh, there is no need to say this anymore. just say soundtraining.net Other than that, its a great video, thanks :)
