DDP's physicality is so impressive. Also someone needs to show this to Aljo and Merab who complained cause they didn't know how to pass someone's guard

@@colorado_gorilla If size didn’t matter then everyone would just compete in the open weight category aka the absolute division. I try to compete on a regular basis and the times that I was matched with heavier people due to no one showing up in my weight class I always had a much harder time dealing with the strength. Size matters but if you are skilled and technically sound you just have a better chance at beating bigger guys who are slower and have less skill so that’s the compensation.
Rob Whittaker absolutely mauled (among many other people) a local bjj champ years ago, a guy that gave me the fits. For Dricus to be able to manhandle Rob- that's really something incredible.
Idc about Dricus being bigger or his opponents aren’t striped black belts. That’s a whole team and a hell of a lot of struggle + skill and he dominated. DDP’s ground game is nothing to laugh at.
DDP cuts down to middleweight which is 84 kg. Means he walks around at least 90kg. These guys weighed in at 70kg to 75kg. Thats why they struggled that much with his top pressure. Thats 90kg lean muscle and strength on top of you squeezing your neck..
When than 90kg black belt started on top, DDP stood up like it wasn't even hard at all, picked the guy up with him as he stood its nuts. Dudes got some freak strength.
@@sewaligoswami781DDPs family had to be the ones who enforced things and kept things in order. Talks like a politician too but actually genuine. Good dude
Only for 13+ years, but I do have 2 black belts. Medaled at international level prior to brown belt, coached various age groups and up to professional athletes. Yes, I'm serious.@@ericgrajeda9916
They gave the second guy two shidos for inactivity...WHILE UNDER DU PLESIS' MOUNT? 😂 And then DQ'd him for getting mauled. That's the dumbest rule I've seen in a ruleset
Yeah they don't seem to be anywhere near black belt level plus dricus is 50 pounds heavier than most of them edit- some are brown belts and the black belts have no stripes.
