The Citation is the most interesting addition to X-Plane IMO. Thank you for teaching us how to fly it! I'm still working my way up there in the Skyhawk, but soon I will be following these videos!
Exactly this middle level of tutorials are missing in flightsims. Now downloading xp12 demo after casually enjoyinh xp9 (on linux) , xp10,xp11. Thanks.
I noticed the P/S RAT Heat Off warning just before the lineup. This was extinguished before take off. I couldn't see what this was associated with. Which device is the RAT?
Very concise tutorial on flying this particular jet! I look forward to seeing more videos like this. I'm curious if you guys have done a video on how to program the FMS. In particular, the Honeywell FMS installed on the Citation X. I'm familiar with the one used in the airliner models but this one is a bit different. If there isn't a tutorial yet for it, would you consider making one? Thanks for all the great things you guys put into this sim!
Yep! I know the zibo 737-800 and need to learning that! In the startup tutorial, he show the basics. To the FPL step, I use the LNM. It save te FPL and I can load direct in any x-plane aircraft.
I don't know what i am doing wrong, i'am doing exacly same thinks as in video but my AP is weird, after take off i am turning on AP, then to first waypoint everything is ok, but after first wp the plane isn't following track Pls help
It is probably because the plane follows the vor navigation, to switch to the fms flight plan you need to press the 'FMS' button above the primary flight display
Thanks for that! I am also no big fan of checklists even though they must be done of course for safety, but when I am flying sim no need! Like to have all the systems though 🙂
