In NH turn 1 with the counter-shoot command, you have to target the closest eligible unit In better news - discovered this channel and this is the 2nd batrep I watched for AoS here, like the format, players seem lovely and engaging, very clear what's going on and the armies are painted beautifully 🙂
Glad to see that zach saw the tech for the dreadblade and made a list with them, I wanted to see them in play before pulling the trigger, if they are still available of course
Ok, so a couple things. First, you might be thinking of Gloomhaven, which is a wildly popular fantasy adventuring party board game. Second, because of the weird 'o' over the 'A', it is pronounced more like "misthoaven".
41:15 whhat was discustion about stacking orders and why passive would matter? None of orders have passive(all have phase)? Also note about bt's(inspired by t1 ghost wondering). You don't have to use ability to pick bt. If you deem you can't do anything or don't like odds no need to burn one. Change to 3rd
@@TheHobbyCollab You're welcome. Figured it's worth mentioning since there might be people who haven't realized that change from 3rd since it's not obvious change that jumps out since nowhere does it state you CAN skip it. But wednesday during game opponent very nearly found no BT to even try and I happened to check the ability to pick BT and it didn't say anywhere you HAVE to use it. In 3rd ed rule clearly said you had to pick BT but in 4th ability isn't listed as mandatory. As there's less "no way I can ever complete this anyway" saving BT's for future useful :) These sort of changes are IMO the trickiest ones to find(as is I found this more or less by accident...) as old habits die hard.
I'm confused, how did Brett pick take the flanks on turn 1, when everything was just set up? Doesn't that nullify the tactic that states "units not set up this turn"?
Zach here! For Brett’s list: The Fusil Major can go in Tahlia’s Regiment as if he were a unit, pretty cool because Tahlia is the one who developed the Castalitte formation concept! For Zach’s list: you didn’t miss anything, I just put 4 for regiments and not 3. We’re going to be coming up with a new way to visually show the list that makes regiments easier to see in the near future.
