Apparently, my home town's water park exists because the mayor personally ordered it like 15 years ago and it's owned by the city. It somewhat infamously doesn't get a lot of business and probably loses money in operating costs every year. And currently, you'd be hard pressed to find a 50ft stretch of road in the city without a large crack or pothole in it. It is a pretty sick water park though.

It would be so funny if among all the crazy options available, there was "an actual mayor" as one of them. Even funnier if he got picked like halfway through, freak out, try to fix everting and fail anyway. I'm also gonna say, the fact that out of all the mayors not a single one got re-elected besides the cavemen who got to be a mayor thrice is such a twitch chat thing. They are a perfect match! It would be funny, but I feel that all mayors were doomed by the fact that DougDoug never seemed to actually try and inform the mayors about the city's residential, commercial, industrial and service/road status. I feel that if he atleast tried to mention it after every new election, more stuff would have been done to save the city.

I am a Geology student, and I have actually seen this hole at 30:18 That is a former gold mine called Homestake Mine in Lead South Dakota. It was turned into a dark matter research lab, which it still is today. The white streaks going sideways through it are Rhyolite Dykes, I believe. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Fun fact: this year I went to summer camp and there was a quiz on video game soundtracks and the skyrim theme started playing and no one had any idea what it was. the ads thing: on twitch you can run ads every so and so minutes for enhanced revenue. you can do it manually or not. doug doesn't, he leaves it off, the only ones his channel runs are the mandated ones by amazon he have no control of. however, because it's funny, we can use channel points to get a reward that play ads on the channel (it'll only play for non-subscribers) and it plays that one message before (its a high price reward so it only happens once in a while)
