I think Anthalassya should have a Island for only government buildings, and a embassy for Asteria (Or some big monument for their friendship). It just my suggestion, also nice City, It remembers me of Aquopolis.

Welcome back! Honestly my favourite Cities youtuber. Love what you do with the lore of each citie and I can't wait to see more from this one. I also think it could be cool if this citie had som parts run by the mafia, and also some slums. I think that could fit the theme a bit.

It's so nice to see you again! Anyway, here's a suggestion: Taking inspiration from the Byzantine empire I was thinking: a city in the world should try to retain the imperial title, as Byzantium kept Rome's one. This city may be the old capital or an other one, maybe surrounded by puppet cities or villages and focused on military strength to bring again the world under the empire's control. I can imagine a city with an excellent yet greedy political elite supported by the military, even against the will of some portion of the population, a city with propaganda and military checkpoints yet with a fair juridical system. I hope you like my idea. Keep working on athalassya, you're great!

your approach to a steampunky city is a nice touch, also im wondering where they made all the steel and carve the stones, perhaps you should make a factory area with tons of pipes, cheers!

It's nice that you are back. I just recently watched the Asteria Series and loved it. So many interesting ideas and a really cool looking city. This new one looks promising and I'm thrilled to see how you develop it. The only thing that kinda bothered me were the comments during building. I know that you want to explain what you're doing but I just could'nt focus ond how you build the city as good as in the Asteria Series. That's one thing I really loved about it: Just watch you build. Anyway, I wish you good luck with the channel and good inspiration for your future projects. :)

I love it so much. Doesn't seem that you're rusty! Couple of tips: - You could use network fences/walls/keys instead of props. Your fps will be better and above all, it doesn't count for the prop count! - Use Cinematic Camera Extended. Make use of the fps function. It will make your cinematics buttery smooth! Great series man. The story is fantastic. Keep the good work up, and don't feel pressure to upload every week!
Thanks. I started to use some networks. I have to work with them a little more. And for this episode I tried to use "speed slide" to have a very slow cinematic. But it was a fail because the mod didn't work as I expected. I will come back to a classic cinematic production next time ;)

We will have lot of bridges. I will run off imagination very fast if I have to name it all. But I should give a specific name to each island. I will wait to finish the first one and try to plan something about this.
Love your work on Cities Skylines and am impressed by the different methods you use to deal with terrain differences! Also if the map is custom-made, can you put it up on the workshop? The map looks really great too :)
Hey so 2 suggestions 1-I the military base add a lot of pipes/ventilations coming out of the ground and maybe an emerging runway built with props 2-For in the mountains in a valley a place like the mines complex in Flying Castle Laputa by Hayao Miyazaki P.s If you did not watch his movies you definitely shoul Bon travail continue comme sa mon ami))
i really do love the city you build! What baffles me is the narrative you put together around your builds in game. I see a lot of people trying to get some personallity around their city, but in that regard you are the king. One bit of constructive critisism: the texts on screen are often filled with grammatical errors, i think it would add even more to the narrative of your city if you managed to work those out. (not always easy i know, not hating here) Normally i'd gladly offer my knowledge on the matter (student in business translation in, among other languages, English) but that wouldnt be ideal with January being the month of exams here. if you are interested however, i would be more than happy to help after January besides that: love your vids, keep 'em comming ;)
Thank you for your lovely comment. Yeah, I know the text in general is a very huge problem to me. I have already try to work with some proofreading. But it's really bother me to "bother" someone else with that. And with my planning is already really hard to find the time to play/edit with involved someone else. If you want to take some exemple I'll not take it as a negative critisism. Instead, it will help me to progress ;)
@@atys well i know absolutely nothing about video editing, so i cant imagine how this extra factor would affect it all. The most important part is that you get to do your vids, and so far, no one dislikes them at all ;) In any case, dont worry about bothering people, in the worst case scenario editing just the sentences beforehand would take about 5-10 minutes :p (just grammatically cleaning house a little) also i saw in one of you comments that you are from France, well the other languages i do as translator are coincidentally french and dutch :p as that example you asked for: 0:19 "rise a city made of stone and steel" ->"a city" is like "he" gramatically, and its "he rises", with an S at the end "rises a city made of stone and steel" -->3ième personne singulier, c'est toujours avec un s ( thought this would be a quick and easy little example ) edit: most of your sentences are correct, dont get the impression your english is rubbish. its pretty alright ;)
you are fascinating. Cities skylines is a very laggy buggy mess for me. It takes 35 minutes to start (if it doesnt crash) and i cant even scroll around my city with more then 10 fps, yet i really wanna play that damn game again after seeing your videos
@@atys yes, but i feel you could include your personal touch, more ficticial and dystopic. Flux made a the city more... Blue and White. I would like more intense colours. Anyway, i enjoy his work and yours :)
Is it possible you could make a collection of all of the assets you use in CS? There is a lot of them like the one's you are using as bridge pillars and the barriers to the water that i would really like to use myself. Thank you as always for making great videos! Great to have you back!
I will do it, but not now. I still purging my asset list to keep only what will be useful for my project. Sometime you subscribe to things you will never use only because they are cool, but don't fit with your theme/project. And I still have many of these items in my list.
Awesome to have you back😄 My suggestions for improvement would be these: To learn from asteria you should have some back up saves if possible, if the save was the problem Imo asteria ended at a perfect moment considering the circuimstances as it had really showed enough of the city and there really wasnt anything important not shown I am a finnish person and english for me is basically a second language. I know you are not a native english speaker as i am, but i think your subtitles could be improved and I would feel free to possibly help improve your subtitles. You would just need to give your planned subtitles for me and i would improve them(while you could still edit them yourself) and send them back. Also i would inform if i was unavailable before hand etc... I would be able to show my skills before hand for free. Contact me in twitter if you are interested in help with the subtitles
I managed to take back a save. But when you transfert some so highly modded and with so much elements you could have some glitchs. I don't want to bother anyone with my "poor grammar". But if you could give me some exemple in the comment it will help me a bit. it really try to improve it

Hi. I'm from France o/ Yeah. I thought it was cool to see two different view from the same world. And I can go deeper in the story like that. But of course, harbour and naval thing will have a huge importance in this city. And for the military side, I already find something "original" ^^
