Well he might not be on PC but he absolutely is not using traffic manager. So excess traffic just despawns in this version. Still his Road hierarchy is pretty good.
I know I’m late to the party, but this video is exactly what I needed to get past that 30-40k population range. Most other videos expand and broaden things out, which gets more complicated and messy unless you have tons of experience. This helped me focus on keeping things tight, while also aesthetically pleasing and functional. In turn then helped me evolve into then getting more creative while not getting overwhelmed. Also, the tricks you do to get the roads where you want, especially running parallel roads on curves and highway exits. It seems so obvious now, but I guess it never really clicked with me until this. Thanks again bud!

@@Bobbys119 When I play cities skylines, I always try to make more realistic cities. Not ugly gridded cities and it takes a long time. BUT, I have cities well over this threshold now
He made the sewage pour into the canal The water pumps have a bug where if you connect them to anything they will pump water So as long as you don’t connect those pumps to the main pipes the whole thing will work

If you want to analyze this city in real time with no midroll ads (like I do as a player with no dlc/mods) here's what to do: 1.If you look at the thumbnail, you'll see text that says "4x" near the lefthand side. Presumably, this is the speed at which the time lapse in this video was recorded. 2. Pause the video by left-clicking with your mouse or trackpad, and move your cursor to the right hand side of the video navigation bar. 3. If you move your cursor to the right past the first item (the autoplay toggle) and closed captioning button, you'll find a gear icon. 4. When you click this gear icon, you'll find a menu. 5. Move your cursor up to the menu item which says "Playback Speed", and left-click on it. 6. A sub-menu should appear, and this is the menu where you want to be. 7. There should be an option in the menu which says "0.25". 8. Click on this option, but keep the video paused. 9. Go to the autoplay toggle (the first item on the righthand side of the video navigation bar), and check the symbol which it is displaying. 10. If the autoplay toggle is a dark grey sideways triangle contained within a white circle, then left click on it. This will disable RU-vid's autoplay feature. 11. If the autoplay togggle is two white parallel rectangles contained within a dark gray circle, then you are ready to move onto step 12 12. 안녕하세요? 잘 보고 있습니다. 저도 영상보면서 따라하니 자꾸 도로 크기와 축척이 자꾸 어긋나네요. 모바일로 보다보니 화면이 작아서 그런지 자꾸만 도로만들때 실패를 자주 하니 다시 시작한것도 6번째네요 ㅠ 인생이란건 실패를 더 많이 그리고 꾸준히 되풀이하고 수많은 시행착오와 험난한 과정을 겪어야 한다는 것이야. 그리고 원래 내 뜻대로 되는 일은 없는것이 인생이네요.

Looks like a glitch in the game. He didn't connect those pumps to the city, yet it is sucking the sewage water away and into... who knows? I guess it is just to prevent a sewage buildup or just dumping it in the sea.
