He is a beautiful man. My son drowned in MRV Vermont and he had already said his goodbyes when I walked up and handed him a note asking him to please play this song. He read the note and walked up to every member of the band individually and then dedicated it to Whalen and sang his heart out. The was equally emotional. He is a rare humanitarian. And, the part is it was a wonderful small local bar in Matunuck RI. Not more than 300 people. Doesn’t get better than that!
C.G. - for 10 years now (since I first heard your music) you understand how I feel and sing it out loud so emotionally it touches me to the core of my being - you sing stuff I live and or lived that relates to my life and with your every note and pause it creates a feeling of belonging and security in the music and then as I listen your song lyrics contain a part of the answer to a question or speak to the soul or resonate by exposing self-evident truths to the world that seems to be looking away from them - here's to hoping you remember there's a third and fourth "H" and that you stay "Humble" and "Healthy" - it is the best way to make sure you can still Love who you are today and worry less about tomorrow.. much love to you~Deb
