Citizen CZ Smart Hybrid Review: The Right Look, But at What Cost? 

Getting some real David Attenborough vibes from this review.

I have found that as soon as the honeymoon period is over with every smart watch I have owned I don't use all the crazy features anyway. It's so much easier to pick up your phone Instead. I started prioritizing battery life over some of the other stuff. That's big reason I switched to Garmin watches. They have the battery optimization or magic or whatever they are doing down.

The perfect watch for me will buy soon because i dont care about other features i only want to change watch faces every day with no touch screen...❤❤❤❤

I just picked up one of these Citizen CZ PG2 on Amazon and it was only $111. The way I see it that justifies what I am getting and really can't go wrong at the price point.

I really like the look. That’s about it. It almost look like my Invicta Sport watch. However; I think I like the Apple Ultra better. But I do believe the price is also too much, and so is the price on this one. I honestly thought I was going to see a better smartwatch tech quality. The technology on this watch is outdated. I’m surprise Citizen even consider to release this watch. Now, the look of this watch with an LED display and the ability to make great calls and receive them, and with good apps and great battery and storage can probably be a great success. Most men do like a thick watch with the same look of this watch or the Invicta watches. Good luck Citizen.

As a watch enthusiast, this is a great option for a smart watch. I don’t want a ton of features on my wrist, I just want a watch. That being said, when my wife tells me I have to head to the gym and should look into getting a smart watch to keep track of my progress I’m looking for the closest thing to a regular watch with some smart watch functionality. This hits the mark precisely in concept, but it’s disheartening to hear it’s not very accurate. Well the search continues for a smartwatch with all the vibes of one of my beloved dumb watches.

Thats basically the Fossil Hybrid HR in New Design. The App looks and operates similar. I guess they bought the tech from Fossil

Yeah bought this and sent it back.lovely watch but when I got a light that you you would get in a 15 pound Casio I felt hard done by.I’d deffo buy if it lit up more and maybe lcd background

can you change the bands on these? i'm thinking about getting it if i can put a leather band on it

Once they release a version with a LCD back screen it would be the ideal hybrid smartwatch, still a great watch nevertheless

I do like the battery life of it, the name brand, and that its a hybrid.. on the other smartwatches, I get lost looking through the complications and picking out the 'perfect' face, and dissapointed with the lack of faces to chose from....

Got mine for 100, not bad for the price. Really advanced smart watches get old after a week or two. This one just looks classy and has history.

I just got it used same color no visible defects for $130. Did I get a good deal?

just recently purchased this watch and straight out the box I can't get the app to allow notifications on the watch from my messaging apps having tried everything in the troubleshooting guide and online it still won't work ....any help ?? I reached out to citizen and the response I got was to send it in for service under warranty...its 1 hour old ffs

Youre paying extra for label. The fossil is quite a bit cheaper and is exactly the same os and e ink screen

The 'starting over' menu of hybrid watches are really a drawback. Unless they've changed if you go beyond the setting you're looking for you need to start over in the menu.

Maybe citizens is under counting calories,but maybe the apple is OVER counting...which would make more sense
