Hello, I'm a Citizen Kane nerd and Orson Welles fanatic. In this video I review the new Criterion Blu-ray/UHD release which sees the film return to the label for the first time since 1991. Kane was Criterion's very first release on Laserdisc in 1984. I cover the film, its production, conception, history, video history, the technical aspects of the new release, compare it to the Warner 2011 Blu-ray, discuss the defective BD issue and everything else I can think of.
