Wow, finally feel like we are getting some of that JDM goodness here in the states. The new small seconds Tsuyosa and this one show Citizen has come to play.

You're right about ,,killing the twelve,, At this price this Citizen is a must have. I own the blue automatic PRX and the tsuyosa in black but still going to pick this one up when it's on sale. What can I say, I love integrated style bracelet watches 😅. I have been dreaming about the twelve. But it's a bit too expensive for me. So this new titanium Citizen could just scratch that itch.

Vario use this movement in the Trench and put the sub dial 6 so the crown is at 4. It's so much quieter than the standard 8000 and generally more accurate.

Very nice watch, it is also available in Eco-Drive. It's a pity that the bracelet does not narrow towards the clasp. It would make the whole project a bit more interesting. If they made cuts on the bracelet like in The Twelve, it would be great

The nickname is Zenshin, the duratec finish is pretty scratch resistant however the titanium used is 'ungraded' meaning below grade 1. In comparison the Tudor Pelagos and Grand Seiko Snowflake GMT uses Grade 2 which although is kinda hard to scratch still scratches pretty badly. The Rolex Yachtmaster and Apple Watch Ultra uses Grade 5 which is the highest grade titanium you can get.

It would be a competitor for the CW12 and PRX80 if it had the 9-series moment. But I’m ok with the 8-series really. Although I would wish for the 9-series if I had a choice, and would pay up for it too.

I have to CW 12 in artic blue, and the Tyuyosa in the green variant and I will also be purchasing this watch. I just really like integrated watches. I’m in between the turquoise and the white

They look amazing but I wish they used their 9 series movement, would be happy to pay more for it. Also, looking forward for it in stainless steel, not a fan of titanium watches.

I’m going for this. I considered the CW Twelve (Ti) the other day, but this is a no brainer instead. The movement is a downgrade as well as the thickness, but really, it’s probably decently accurate if I get it regulated, and it’s likely just as reliable if not more, and hopefully cheaper to maintain too? I’m not sure, as my local watchmakers probably don’t see that many Miyota automatics really. Anyways though, I like the design much better, and it’s been a third and quarter of the price.

I think that the quality of Citizen's workmanship will be much lower than that of CW. Beautiful bracelet, cuts, clasp, etc. Citizen does not have this. But I'm also waiting for it, maybe it will be of a relatively good standard. If the steel The Twelve cost as much as the automatic PRX, I'd probably get it

@@JagPapi I agree. But that's also why this watch is a fraction of the price. The "Series8" watches is where Citizen try to compete with CW (not saying they're quite up there though), but they have no Titanium pieces in that collection. I think it comes down to that I actually prefer the look of the Citizen by far to the Twelve. The dial design look amazing, and while the dial design is great on the Twelve, it just doesn't work that well for my personal taste. And I'm OK with having a more affordable lower quality piece. Actually, I like to treat my metal sports-watches a bit rough, so the fact it costs less might directly make me enjoy it more even if I could afford the higher quality of The Twelve.

When it comes to watches with an integrated bracelet around 300-400 euros, this will undoubtedly be the best option. It's a pity that they didn't do it like in the case of Tsuyosa with a small seconds hand, without a date, it would have looked more elegant
