Design is nearly 20 years old but still looks good. Very reliable car. Still lots of them about showing good build quality, Defiantly a future classic.

I have had a couple of these and intend to get another (I like to change cars). They are supremely comfortable and quite a plush interior. Much more comfortable than later variants like the C4 which has minuscule seats in the middle/back row that are quite hard and those silly headrests that are cut out around the seat. The tray tables are a nice feature, carrying 5 healthy sized adults is comfortable. Luggage space is cavernous, such a great flat load lip which is easy. The styling remains in my opinion good looking. Subject to the odd electrical fault. Engines in my experience are good. I liked the smaller petrol, mpg isn’t too offensive. I have owned lots of cars (over 50 cars in the past 14 years or so and I’d put this in the top 5) several marks ahead of the Renault scenic which I have had two as well.

Just bought one - not my first. Arguably better than the C4 version with it's cramped footwells and awful egs gearbox, the latest incarnation - bashed my head trying to get into it and it is a mobile phone inside. Now moved to classics section on Honest John -rightly so. If they still made it they would sell it.

Xsara picasso 2007-10 it is better because citroen did some small changes eg:better back ligt with transparent stripes and no dome, no roof, other rims wheels small screen, other seats and the mark (double Chevrons) is different bigger back and front, the worlds ( citroen :::::::::: xsara ) is further up in the model of 2008

I have a Picasso 2004 ,but if the windscreen cracks and not covered on insurance then the cost is over £250 !! also if it needs a cambelt change then the cost is over £260 to have changed plus bit for as its the labour costs involved as the belt is difficult to even get to ,and the battery is under the front passenger seat so if you need a jump leads start you would need extra ling cables

My widow screen breaks and it costs only 70 pounds. Cam belt change is a very good price, other cars can be 400 pounds.

There's a positive battery terminal under the bonnet in the normal place for jump lead attachment

I bought one to last a year, it lasted 3. I loved the fucking thing, gutted when it broke. I'd have another one. Mine was unfortunately beyond help, but these fuckers are battle scarred warriors and keep going forever...almost

Had the 1.8 from 2006, noisy engine on highways, which is not what to expect from a 1.8 engine.

They were cheap and practical, nobody dreamed of owning one but other than the looks there isn’t much to hate about them.
