My VW Polo 9n3 sometimes doesn't start. Battery is OK. When turning the key to start, headlights go off, and there is only a click sound but no cranking. This happens at cold temps like today -10°C. After many attempts and after hitting the started with a stick it starts. What could be the problem? Solenoid? I'd be glad to hear your comments. The car has been standing outside with only very little driving.
