How to Repair this increasingly more common fault
The Citroen C4 Wont Start, Also the Peugeot 3008 has similar issues.
the ignition comes on but the engine won't turn or start.
Found there to be a fault with the circuit breaker above the battery.
I show in the video haw to reset and start the car.
The Circuit Breaker Fault causes warning lights for the handbrake\ parking brake fault, engine fault, battery charging fault.

So I have sorted this in 4 different C4P (Grands aswell) and we found it is the Clutch cylinder. The reason the handbrake fault appears is due to the auto release handbrake on the 2015 models and above. Each time we have tested a car a strange error of ‘clutch master cylinder position is not correct’ and the only way to get the car to start was to clear the codes, pump the clutch a couple of times and it started every time. It turns out the clutch switch / cylinder is a cheaper component and is a bit of a struggle to fit but only took me an hour or so. I have confirmed this is on Peugeot’s as well. (Please feel free to correct me if you have had different) the next time you have the fault occur, get diagnostics run, from roadside assistance or the local garage, the fault stays until it is cleared. This also explains why you can get the fault while driving and the car operates fine, until you stop, then it won’t start again. So to sum up, the fault is a cylinder position fault (and as it can’t confirm you foot is on the clutch, it will not release the HB) but the fault appears as a handbrake fault on the dash. Check the error codes next time it happens and please tell me if you see otherwise. Unless other issues are appearing do not get your mechanic to replace massive parts (I have seen posts saying this, hence the comment) check it. I hope this helpful, as having a idea of the issue would have saved me weeks of fault hunting and testing. Thanks for the video, as it got in to looking.
