Is it my imagination or did Chris Goffey shave his beard and mustache? I recognise his voice, but I didn't recognise him otherwise.

I love the fact that he doesn't mention the fact that the SM is underpinned by the DS

Best car brand period

A very nice documentary with all the classic elements but especially interesting towards the end where it also takes a good look at more recent types. Still it makes the same old mistake in one respect. The high range car that was a few years out of production when the program was made is mentioned as a mere sideline. Here it is the XM. They did not even go to the trouble of picking up a few moving images. Talking about an afterthought! Still this is nothing new. It is how the CX was treated before that and even the DS before it! I predict that the XM will soon rise in the Citroen enthousiasts consiousness again, the first proof being that even average people in street start to turn their heads again when I drive by in my "old banger".

I like citroen GS so much.

We haven't seen Citroen in America since sometime in the 1970's. Our Federal emissions standards caused them to pull out, and they've never wanted to re-engineer their cars to come back. Sad.

I have always though highly of the Citroen. Even more so now that I know something of its history.

Strange that the programme does not mention the 2CV much! No mention of the Dyane or Visa! Was there a chunk of it missing as he did say it lasts an hour but this lasts 45mins.

The DS was a neat car technologically, but I've always thought it was one of the ugliest cars ever made. Its so weird looking. Just my personal opinion mind you. ;)
